Thanks for the advice.1-7 twist shoot the heaviest bullets, you can, try a 79 grain
I would take the rifle to your expert builder and let him go over it and shoot it. If his normal groups with other ARs look anything like those posted by @LVLAaron, and he is as good a smith as you seem to think, he will give you a definitive answer as to whether it is the rifle or the shooter on short order. Thanks for the offer but I have a guy nearby that builds AR's for folks around the world, He's more than capable of doing any enhancements/upgrades I may need/want.
If the few folks I know that have Stag15's shoot good groups with theirs then what?
And no, they didn't do anything to them, shot them right out of the box and have MOA/sub MOA groups consistently.
It's either me or the rifle. Most likely me. Or both.
Some folks take the easy way and just swipe a card. You do things the way you like, I on the other hand want to actually learn stuff. I don't take my car to the shop every time it makes a weird noise or a dash light comes on. If you do then good for you. I have several vehicles in my garage that some would consider classic.I would take the rifle to your expert builder and let him go over it and shoot it. Thanks!!!I should have started reading this thread from the back. Obviously, the OP is not receptive of sound advice.
