Trigger Tech vs Jewell

I talked with TT support about that. They said that they do not recommend using the TT Diamond 700 with factory remington actions. It was 'if you have a factory remington action, do not use the Diamond 700 - period" type of response.

I wonder what the reason is? I have them on some of my rem700 with no problems as of yet.
 
I asked. The answer was 'clones are held to a much tighter manufacturing tolerance' and that you could get an accidental discharge. Which really doesn't say what the problem is. Maybe someone more familiar with how a trigger in a remington/clone action works would know.

If the bolt is loose in the raceway it will lift up and give less engagement on the cocking piece
 
Ah! So, if the bolt is loose enough the firing pin could release and fire a round in the chamber - yes?
