Trigger Tech vs Jewell

I broke a Jewell with the safety blanking a primer and have blanked primers in rifles that had the Jewell with no safety that were not hurt,,looking at the parts inside it looked like the one with the safety could be easier broken,,but I been wrong before

The decision to purchase TT over a Jewell does not rest solely on failure risks or the warranty but it does make a difference. The first time you have to pay to fix a Jewell you will ask yourself WTF, especially when it could have been avoided all together. If the Jewell was a better Trigger then I would undoubtedly run with it and accept the associated risks. But to me it isn’t the better option. Do yourself a favor, purchase both, set them up to same weight and test them... I have many times. To the OP, IF you don’t like the TT Diamond I will purchase it from you for your purchase price.
That’s a good idea to try one out, wow u seem very impressed with the TT.

How do the trigger techs compare to the jewell triggers? Would be more for a long range shooting, hunting build. I do have a jewell on another long range hunting rifle but haven’t had an issue in wind, snow, rain, sleet yet but worried I may someday. Depending on how hard I use the rifle determines how often I flush it with lighter fluid. If I head out west for a week long hunt which is the better option? I do like the feel of the jewell even at 2 lbs.

I’ve not used a Jewell but recently put a Trigger Tech Diamond on my heavy Creedmoor. By far the best trigger I’ve ever used...

I have all jewells from BR at 1 oz to others at 5, 6, and 8 ozs. Ive never had 1 problem, but never tried anything else either.

jewell triggers served me and most of us well during the day when they were the only real choice, but technology has changed that for me. I absolutely love my triggertech diamond. the only drawback would be if you were someone who needs the trigger to go down below 4 ozs.

My life actually got easier when i realized i didnt need a 1oz trigger. Every brand out there works better at 4-5oz and ive found you wont do anything but help your groups. Triggers are way more consistent too once i got a gage thatll reliably measure fractions of an ounce

The ability to adjust pull weight, sear engagement, and over travel on the Jewell give the user the ability to tailor the trigger pull to the feel they are looking for. If you don't feel comfortable that you can safely make these adjustments or you are not looking for a particular feel in your triggers than the Trigger Tech may be a better option.

I think I’ve got 7 Jewell triggers and have had no problems with them what so ever. The 2 I have on my deer/coyote guns I bought used and I’d hate to guess how much powder they’ve ignited. Those 2 triggers have been carried over countless miles on four wheelers and snowmobiles. And as of Saturday no problems. I’m sure that trigger tech makes an excellent trigger but I’m not going to replace my jewells anytime soon. Unless maybe I can get out of my pickup with heated seats and steering wheel and pick up my gun with a new heated trigger haha

I found some in stock with bolt releases from piercisionrifles with free shipping who is a member here but don’t need one, it appears the bolt release bracket is easily removed-is this true?
