Today I tested some .30 bullets produced without etching.
Just washing the cores with acetone.
5 shots groups, distance 109 yards, without wind flags and using a Harris bipod.
It seems to me that not doing etching didn't worsen the groups.
Let's repeat the tests.

Where is the best place to order core seat punches? I recently got my order of j4 .825’s and the only 2 punches I have that are close to the correct size are .2110 and .2115. With light core seat pressure and even but minimal bleed by the .2110 is making a 67.3gr and the .2115 is still scratching the jacket at 68.3gr. I’d like to be able to get pretty close to the 68gr range.
