What year did you buy all that? it might give a hint as to which lot they are.
When did Stamoly become unavailable?

Guys, you have so much more experience, so...
Is it correct to conclude that if there is by bleed, even if minimal, it rules out the possibility of trapped air?

Beginner's question. To avoid lead buildup on the sides of the core seater punch, would making the diameter slightly smaller, as shown in the photo, have any negative effect on the quality of the bullet?

I noticed that the lead comes loose and simply falls out of the punch.

As a heads up, I've posted some J4 1.000" .30 cal jackets for sale.

Good shootin' :) -Al

The bleed by inside the jacket has to be pretty significant with that punch diameter. That much lead wrapping around the punch would have me going  up in punch diameter.

Good shooting. :) -Al

Does having a boattail on a bullet change the amount of bleed-by you see or want to see vs what you do for flat based bullets?

I’ve never made a flat based bullet, however, I can say forming a boattail on a long 6 takes a bit of energy and moves lead.
