I'm a scooch older than you Josh, and I happen to know a lot of guys who are in their mid twenties to mid thirties. Their heads are in the right place, and I think our country has more of them than we tend to think.

I live and work in REAL AMERICA, and if I didn't watch the news, things wouldn't seem too bad. A lot of these guys have their shit WAAYY more together than I did at their age. I bet there's a lot of them here on our forum also.

I know one young guy who runs a framing crew, and in the last year they have cranked out about four very high end homes as well as other smaller but fairly technical projects. I was thinking that he couldn't be much more than thirty. -- just found out that he's only twenty four freaking years old!!!

Folks around here are pretty solid, and I don't know of any who will comply with the kind of horse shit that all of these Demotards would propose.

I suppose I got lucky, none of my children were gunned down going to school or in a public venue.
I can only imagine the grief these people are enduring. I don’t pretend to know the answers moving forward.
One thing for sure is that you cannot leave it up to a politician to hold your interest once they get beyond the local level.

Everyday their stats on ALL legal gun owners support gun , magazine etc bans or assault weapons bans or mandatory buyback which is a nice word for confiscation.... Nobody has asked me , have they asked you..? I don't know ANYBODY who wants that and I don't know ANYBODY who has been asked if they want that and I live in Texas so everybody I know has more than one gun even people who don't like or shoot guns , still has a gun because , well welcome to Texas...

Every type of gun has been used in a mass shooting , so if you remove one , next thing they will remove another, and so on and so on till they have them all... It has nothing to do with safety , there's already laws in place against all of this and has been for a long time... If we did a poll here people would say we're biased , but that's exactly how they do their polls to get the numbers they want....

I wish I still had your optimism.

After having read some history and observing the bigger picture about where we are today as a nation and what has been happening on and since 911, and then what has happened in our country going back to 1913 and the creation of our (unconstitutional) money system, I cannot help but wonder about our voting system:

"If voting made any difference, they wouldn't let us do it" unknown

With the electronic (hackable) voting system we have in place today in most of the country, what can we really be sure of?? and with an ABSOLUTE IDIOT like beto and the rest of the absolute idiots being even anywhere near the level of mentally fit or even remotely considered to be presidential material, my skepticism about just about anything political is at about level 9.

I truly hope I'm wrong.
