I've got a thought to spice this up a little
I'll post a 5 target 5 shots each agg at 200 with my ppc to stack against the Dasher boys at 100

You're getting there! Keep it up!View attachment 1002516 Not quite there, however I think I'm getting close with seating depth.
Just went out to the 200 yard range to test seating depth, 3 three shot groups. Dasher w/105 hunts. Agg .404 CTC

Looks like you've got it working! Good Shooting!!!Not at 100yards but still worth a look. This is my first Dasher barrel, Kreiger 8 twist, 107 factory pointed Sierras, Varget, jumped 5tho, 5 shot groups, testing powder charges at 200m. I think I may have found a node between 32.6 and 32.9 they are both in the 3s.
still need to do seating depth but waiting on good weather!!
Cheers Rushty

Bart, we have a 300 yard match Saturday (3/4/17) and I have been trying to decide whether to shoot my Dasher with your 105s or my 6PPC with your 68 BT. I have to decided to go with the PPC. I just hope that the wind is not like St. Louis. Will let you know how I did. The match is for score with the IBS 300 yd. target (1.5" ten ring). We shoot 3 sets of ten shots each. Here is a picture of the target we use. JamesView attachment 1003374
James,
Good luck this weekend! Keeps us posted!

Well, there is an old saying that God looks after fools and drunkards.....may I add those that shoot a 6PPC/68gr bullets at a 300 yard match. God must have guided my bullets in the wind and mirage today, because I came away with a victory. Barts bullets, the BAT rifle, and the Valdada scope did their part, but I was a little shaky on a couple of let ups. I may be "back to the future" because the trophy shows March 11th. I guess the trophy person thought the match was next week.

I'll play. It's not a Dasher, but here's about a .375 Agg shot with your 105 Infinity Boats at 100yds while trying to find a powder charge for my new Rock 6BR barrel that Alex Wheeler chambered for me. It had 30 rounds on it since cleaning when I got to the range and these are the only 25 shots that I fired yesterday. I guessed on the elevation and windage from my previous shooting at 200 yards. Shot in about a 12 MPH switchy 6-9 o'clock wind without paying much attention to the one flag that I put out - Just holding dead center. I want a wind tolerant load.
Like they say... if your 8 twist 6BR won't shoot 30gr of Varget and a quality 105, it probably isn't the load. Interestingly enough, the very 1st 5 that I shot through this barrel was with 30gr of Varget and a 105 Infinity. It was in the high ones as well. I think it's time to fine tune at longer range and practice shooting!
That thing is shooting amazingly well !!!
Dan,suasponte's groups makes me think a faster twist than the standard may help us cut the flyers down in the Dasher.
This won't count as its only a 3 shoot group, but it could of only got bigger !
105 Bergers i think its the best I've shot, pity I've never been able to repeat it
