We should all be nice to each other the way those adult film actresses are ! Wait , that didn't come out right !
The Condor Club. Bet you also fell in love with North Beach Italian food. When I came back from Vietnam I was in San Francisco for a while. While I was there I fell in love with Carol Doda.
Any of you motorheads remember "Jungle Pam" Hardy? Yum.Another awesome young lady!!
Amen, I couldn’t have said it any better!!I heard a great saying a ways back: "If everyone else is an A^^hole, then you're the A^^hole" If you are constantly being treated poorly by people (customer service reps are people too), I'd recommend trying to look carefully inward to make sure you aren't the one creating the situations that plague you.
In my opinion, complaining loudly in a public venue about how you were treated poorly reeks of a childish tantrum and unnecessarily burns bridges you may want in the future. As above, they are people too and you never know how your loud outburst may come back to bite you. I prefer to quietly take my money elsewhere and only give my honest advice and experiences when directly solicited by others.
Mighta been the Walker or Crutches,Motor went KUPUT on ScooterI was thinking the same thing. She was over the hill when I was in college
I heard she was trying to make a comeback but they couldn’t figure out a way to work her mobility scooter into the script

First time I've heard of any bad experiences with frank@b===b. (Whoever he is !!!) Not to bring out the bashers but your right, one case does not define a companies service and like I always say, there's two sides to every case.Haha, you have some pent up hostility, and maybe rightfully so. I'm surely not here to defend anyone, but one instance never defines a company, but it can profile a person.
View attachment 1092029 Made it out yesterday for some 6.5X47L load work and sight in my 6X45AI after a barrel swap. The range "A$$hat" internet expert showed up with his new .338 LM and this group stared back at his 1 1/2"-2" group. He has previously told me, his 25 year senior, that I don't know anything because my firearms or I don't/can't shoot in the "one's". Karma is sweet...
True words right there ,it really is a crap shoot out there. Money no longer translates to quality . I have learned to fix the faulty product or move on . It's a bummer when you get ripped off... some folks stand behind their products, some don't.Amen! In an earlier post with a similar theme, I outlined my issues with powder measures, rear bags, and a joystick rest. These (were) top-of-the-line, state-of-the-art items, for which I paid top dollar. They had problems right out of the box, or as my brother used to say: "They arrived pre-broken."When asked why not send them back and get a new one, I said there's no guarantee the replacement would be any better than what I already had.
I had a $150 rear bag that developed the "wobbles" after a month of use. The company's fix? Buy a rear bag "stabilizer," for another $30. My answer? Why not make a bag that doesn't get the wobbles to start with! Not even going into scopes that won't track, rings that allow the scope to move or turn, bases that move under recoil, new $400+ dollar triggers that give up, dies that need polishing before use, etc. , etc.
The takeaways: High price is not a reliable indicator of quality. Quality control is solely lacking. Buying new stuff is a total crapshoot!
I'm reminded of an old saying. "Better a Devil you know than one you don't." If you have something that's older and dependable, don't be seduced by the newer, shinier, and more expensive version of it. If you are, you're likely to end up on the wrong end of the pitchfork!

Always 2 sides, but even "Perceived" poor customer service never helps.First time I've heard of any bad experiences with frank@b===b. (Whoever he is !!!) Not to bring out the bashers but your right, one case does not define a companies service and like I always say, there's two sides to every case.
I fired off an email last night to the company, I want reimbursed for the ammo, Midway will not take the loaded ammo back, as will no retailer. I guess I'll see how this unfolds, and I'm almost positive my ability to read a caliper will be questioned, lol
Lol, I had a minor flare up with a popular die maker on this site. My die was clearly out of spec, by .006" at the mouth. I got the "you do not have the proper tools to measure" spiel. Which of coarse got the "ok sonny, how about I ship it back and you decide, then get a new one back to me pronto".You'll want to check that brass with a micrometer that's been calibrated and certified by a government approved testing agency. Your dimensions will be required in tenths. Calipers aren't going to cut it. View attachment 1092217
In my bubble, you are a rarity, lol. The trend to blame your environment is rampant in my circle. I really wish, instead of reading about something, guys would have to figure it out on their own, it's really the best way to learn. If I mess up, the only one to blame is m
This is not as bad as the berger bullet packaging thread.Boy, you can really tell when winter sets in around here.
