The Blame Game.....

Not here but on another forum, there's a Berger bashing thread. They discontinued a small volume bullet, hence the OP is now boycotting Berger. I guess he missed that life lesson that you can't please everyone and to try is an exercise in futility.
The guy has no one to blame but himself. If he likes the bullet he shoulda bought more....

But there are those out there that still don’t get it that a business has to make a profit. Bullet makers can’t continue to make bullets that have small markets..
 
You need to compliment an older lady. I told this one lady that she is the type that gets more beautiful the older she gets , up to a certain point then it will start to go the other way. But you are weeks away from anything like that !
 
Shit happens and junk gets out, I sent a new action back to the manufacturer not once not twice but 3 times.......wasnt even close to the way the other action was that I had from them.....Each time I talked to the owners son. I was pissed on the 3rd time but they never dodged me and always took my phone call. I was polite and to the point but not being a ass probably helped my position and being a repeat customer, not to mention what they promised was another problem, then come to find out they dont even offer that option. IN THE END we worked it out. (comparing that to barrel problems) second issue that year was a bad barrel. 350 rounds lots of smart guys looking at it....sent it back to company K....said the smith work was beautiful, barrel looked great....said it happens could if been the steel could of been other things. told me they were swamped but will send out a new barrel in a couple weeks.
 
If youll notice some people just have problems with customer service while others dont- even with the same company. If all you hear is good things about a company but YOU have issues.... maybe its you? If you seem to have issues with businesses everywhere you turn...
And as far as berger stopping production on an evidently shitty bullet? Id sue em if it was me that needed em. How dare them stop production on the only money maker they have to spend that production time on bullets nobody buys like the 105hybrid- its hard to believe they would make the bullets on backorder before they make a bullet they sell a 100 box to one guy a year.
 
I've read many threads about this and that about various manufactures, products, expectations, etc.. and I've had a few things pop up that I felt were not up to par with items I've purchased but I don't run to a forum to air out my differences or displeasure. I go directly to the person/people responsible and get it taken care of. End of story. If I'm that unhappy, I won't do business with them again but that is my choice and my business.

I think it's unfair to negatively judge a company or an individuals work entirely by internet banter. I've had a saying for most of my life: "consider the source". I don't know the people voicing the complaints and in today's world, with the lack of knowledge by the masses, keyboard commandos are the norm not the exception.

If you doubt this, go to Amazon and read some of the reviews posted by uniformed people.

A product discontinuation is an inconvenience to some, a boon for the company. Life is too short too stress over things like this. I was under the assumption Berger usually gave notice, giving one time to exercise the credit card.
