The ballot for NRA board....any suggestions?

Ted Nugent-The Motor City Madman? This guy is somewhat of a nut case and he has never attended a board of directors meeting. He is just a celebrity face for the NRA.
At least Tom Selleck looks serious.

Tom Selleck resigned.

I can no longer find the posting, or remember most of the names, but HJ "Walt" Walters had made a post suggesting 4 or so candidates that were pro competitive shooting. Unfortunately, the name I do remember I am not enamored with, and would not likely vote for. Also, it is suggested to vote for only the ones you want, or know, rather than diluting your vote by choosing how ever many one is allowed to choose.

I am a Life Member but get my magazine thru digital subscription. I haven't gotten a ballot.
The one person I would not support again is Ted Nugent. When the Yeti controversy hit between them and NRA Yeti claimed it was the fault of Marion Hammer. They told all their sponsored hunters to go out and tell everyone it was the NRA's fault and not theirs. Nugent is heavily connected with Yeti and, totally out of character, said exactly NOTHING to support NRA or Yeti. If Yeti was lying we should have been told. If NRA (Marion) was in the wrong (even more importantly) we should have known. Ted could have put it all in proper perspective but has kept the real truth to himself.
EDIT:
Also, I've met Tom Selleck at a couple of shows (NRA and Safari Club). I really hate he stepped down. Richard Childress is one of our strongest supporters. If on the ballot, we need him there.

I tend to look for candidates who list at least some competitive shooting experience, so that there will be someone on the board who will keep the NRA involved in competitions. Unfortunately, they seem to be pretty scarce among the current batch of nominees. Beyond that, I didn't notice anyone on the ballot that I'd never vote for.

If nothing else the ballot is going to let the NRA know what you are thinking and care about. As for your vote making a difference remains to be seen, and then only if the results are released.
If your not willing to take the time to find out who is who and what they really stand for, (other than a cushy income) don't vote.
