I am adding one name to the above list, Harold J. Rocketto who I have known and shot with since the 70s. He is known as Hap Rocketto and if you are a shooter chances are you have read articles he has written.

If you are eastern US you should have already received your ballot in your magazine if y ou are elibible to vote.

If you are in the western US you should have your magazine in about a week.

On the front cover of your magazine if there is a ribbon in top right corner with VOTE! in large letters you should have a ballot inserted therein about the middle of the magazine. If it is not there call the number below immediately.

If you get the digital version the ballots will be sent to you in the mail. They went out about ten days ago.

All ballots have to be back before May 1st to be counted.

Make sure to sign envelope on outside that you are the one that filled out the ballot.

If you have any problems (no ballot enclosed etc call 800 672 3888 and have your membership card ready to give them your number.

Last year they sent out 2,335,000 ballots and only got back 115,000.

For those that want a deal there is a special on for LIFE MEMBERSHIPS now. 500.00 to the end of March. Call them and sign up. Annual membership is going up drastically at end of month.

Has anyone experienced any problems receiving ballots or magazines?

I heard from a member of the SC Legislature yesterday who had not received a mag or ballot. I told him to call 800 672 3888 and he did and sat on phone 28 minutes and had to go as session was opening. Check with your friends to see if they got theirs and urge them to vote for the above.

Yes, +1 for adding Hap Rocketto to the list. Also, happy to see SOF endorsing Rich Kussman. Rich is currently the match director of the New Holland mid-range matches and is very dedicated to the shooting sports. I voted for both of these guys on the current NRA ballot.

I guess that my happy experience provided by the NRA is the fact that I still enjoy owning and using firearms with pretty good freedom. I think that without the NRA, that might be very different. jd

As you can see,things are going well this morning.I have received my ballot, voted and returned it about a week ago.I vote every time,we all should.If you have not voted,be aware that a special recall ballot is also part of the vote,about recalling member Grover Norquist.The NRA has provided info on the reason for the recall.Have a good day Gents. I am still hearing of folks that have not received the ballot as yet. Please check with your friends to insure they have theirs. If not they need to call. Their vote is needed.

I got my Life Membership when it went from $75.00 to $100.00. Paid for it quarterly on a 2nd Lt. pay. It was a lot then. I vote first for folks that I actually know and have shot with. Then I vote for folks who are listed as shooters. Then I choose folks from their biography who I feel will bring status to the board and will be active participants in the affairs of the NRA. Years ago the NRA almost became a Camping and Conservation Club. Actually shooting of firearms became a secondary activity. I don't want that to ever happen. That is why I vote the way I do.

I learned the last load of ballots go out in snail mail 4/6/2016 (tomorrow) if you don't have one by 4/13/2016 call the 800 number quickly.

CD Parker we have to have shot together multiple times.

Just heard from a guy who just got his ballot. 21 days in the mail ! ! ! ! ! ! If you don't have yours yet, call now ! ! ! ! !

A reminder folks, you have about 48 hours to fill out your ballot and get it in the mail. That will give the USPO six days to get it to the counting facility. If it is late (after 1 May 16 it will not be counted
