It could be my user error as well. Here were 9 throws in a row:Thats weird cause on the 2 I have i can do 50 varget and nearly all will be closer to dead on than off by a 10th max. I will usually do one or two of the 50 with an 'operator error' throw resulting in max 2/10th off. My variances are nearly always on the low side of the weight unless i do an 'error' and they wind up higher.
I have found that pouring the powder into the supplied hopper gives me above results. If I screw the powder container onto the base then I get alot more 'flyers'.

I took it off and poured it in then put cap on and put back on thrower.well they are all plastic! maybe some work better than others!! I never touched the tension adjustment.
did you screw on the powder tub or pour into the lee hopper?
I have the deluxe brass version arriving this week. See how it works out.
I took it off and poured it in then put cap on and put back on thrower.
I was running one for a while until it started to fall apart. It is sitting to the side, waiting for me to decide if I want to send it back to them.I know several guys that run Lee Auto drums on their Dillons.
I have found this as wellI have a lee for every caliber I load for, if you work them in and get the hang of them they will hang with any powder dispenser. Keeping the powder level in the sweet spot also helps allot
I have found this as well
simple answer he does not use a scale with enough sensitivity to tell the real weight. his claims and scientific process are not working out wellIt could be my user error as well. Here were 9 throws in a row:

I try to keep the reservoir between half and two-thirds full.sweet spot like no less than half full or ? I will have to do some more testing but i found screwing on the powder bottle produced less consistent results than using the little hopper
I try to keep the reservoir between half and two-thirds full.
Yes like this, I have 2 sharpie marks where I keep the powder level
If I didn't have two of the flimsy pos I wouldn't believe a single above post The little guys really work well.
