Thanks and a question---

First of all, thanks to all who participate here and especially to the Editor in Chief for providing this wonderful site. The knowledge, info, and advice that I've received have allowed me to make some intelligent decisions in regard to my first true LR benchrest rifle and gear.

The question I have is in regard to some basic website functions. In particular, at times neither a "reply" button nor a button to start a new thread are present on any page. This is the first time I have been able to start a new thread in a couple of weeks... I seem to have continueing problems logging on and staying on at times as well.

Anybody else having the same problems? Anybody have solutions?

Hayseed,

Could be you're having a problem with slow image display, or your browser is not caching the images.

To start a new thread you first have to click into a sub-Forum, such as the Reloading Sub-forum. Then you should see this graphic in the middle of the page at the top:

The "REPLY" button is a small gold-colored graphic that appears at the top of the bottom of each thread:

If this is not appearing, there should be a text box that you can click also.

If you haven't cleared your browswer cache in a while, its a good idea to do so. This will ensure that the browser loads the New Topic and reply buttons.

Also, you may find you get better performance by using the FireFox browser. Internet Explorer has a less-than-ideal way of calling cached images.
