Test done on pressure vs. barrel grooves

Was wondering has anyone ever done any tests on a given load and how 3,4,5, or 6 grooves affects the pressure? If so where can/could it be found.

Shawn we can talk about 3 grove this weekend at LR match. We know a gent that is using 223 3 grove and he is running some high pressure loads that would not work in a standard 4-6 IMHO. See you Saturday.
I watched him hammer at Sierra Cup with it but for one string.

Hi Scott, yeah looking for actual data numbers figure someone has had to have ran the tests.

It's not the number of grooves. It's the ratio of land to groove. That means you can have a 3 land barrel with the same displacement as a 6 land barrel. Barrel makers are not going to venture far from SAAMI displacement specs. The more land area the higher the pressure. Rule #1 Don't make the phone ring.
SAAMI specs out everything.
308 Win 4 groove .176" wide
6.5 CM 6 groove .090" wide

I know there has been discussions here especially about 5r barrels, but I came across more information that touches on more than just what I think has been discussed here before, maybe I missed if it was.
