Target scope suggestions

The Athlon Ares 15-60 is Plenty good! We have two new ones and love the scope--zero issues --crispy sharp--still looks great even at 60x lifetime warranty and the price is right- around $1K -Quality scopes have been getting more plentiful and cheaper-The Arken 7-35 looks like it might be a winner also at $599 current sale price--ordered one just to have a look
I do wish some company would do a 15-60 or 50x target scope with a little fatter reticle--all of the units I have looked through in that category have very thin reticles--older eyes need a little thicker
First company that does this say take the Athlon and fat up the crosshairs just a little --will sell a ton of them IMO
The Trijicon Tenmile 5-50x56 has a slight thicker reticle in the MOA
Really nice glass and clarity, I bought the MRAD cause I like the floating dot center better,
slightly thinner lines than the MOA and since it's click values are .05 MRAD almost the same values as a 1/8 turret.

I just receive a Athlon Ares, but haven't had much time behind it to make a good evaluation.
So far seems to have a good clear view.

Update: A good deal came up on a Delta Stryker HD 5-50x56 and my wife persuaded me!

Impressed so far, nice turrets, feels very solid, the glass looks very clear to me and the floating dot reticle is just what I like. I've mounted it and bore sighted, I'm off to get it sighted in later. I've gone with Burris XTR 1.5" rings which are about right with inserts in (approx 15MOA), the TAC A1 has a long rail you need to have enough clearance from. I'm aiming for optically centered, more or less at 600m.

I'll see how I get on at 40x, where the reticle subtends correctly. The parallax is smooth and you can be quite precise on the Gen III. A definite upgrade on my Sightron SIII 6-24x50.

Further update: All sighted in, had to retorque the rings after a few shots which tightened up the groups. Once I sorted out my form shooting off the bench, I normally shoot prone, it was reliably grouping under 1/2 MOA. Three shots out of 25 had a bit too much velocity deviation for my liking, 20-30fps from the average. The rest were single figure to 15fps.
