My Farley tale:....................Listen up boys and girls!

Once upon a time, I had a Funky Farley. Not anymore! The Southeastern Region of the IBS annual banquet last fall, again, had many, many generous sponsors from all over the country. I was fortunate enough to win a free certificate for a full Farley upgrade. This prize had NOTHING to do with my ability to shoot (or not) as it was a random ticket draw door prize. Actually my Farley NEEDED a little love, but all my friends know about my mechanical inabilities. I actually sat on this for awhile, but having seen this guy at some matches in the Southeastern Region and having nothing to lose, I called. This guy already KNEW who had won his certificate and was waiting on me to call. I related what I thought it was doing and the mis-adjustments I had done to it. I heard him say, "Wayne, put that damn thing in a box and send it to me". I did, by priority mail, the next morning. When I got this thing back, well within the return date time frame, astounded! and hot damn!, were the only things I could think of. 5 ***** SERVICE even when I called him back twice with several 10 cent questions.

And the proof they say, is in the pudding: At My first IBS match this year, I took second place in the Grand Agg. My Farley now gets to where I want it to go VERY SMOOTHLY, and IT STAYS THERE, NOT TWO THIRDS OF A DOT OFF SOMEWHERE ELSE. Perhaps second place was a happenstance, regardless, I am just tickled with my Farley now, and my confidence level is too. This was infinitely more than a "tension screw adjustment". I would recommend this upgrade to anyone who is dis-satisfied with the performance of their Farley.

ps: Mr. Farley, there is no intent here to chunk rocks at someone who has done as much as Farley has for the Benchrest Community. Please sir, keep up the good work for us.

Alan is a good guy and he has these upgrades down to a science. Do give him a try if you're struggling in any way with your coaxial rest. He also works over SEB rests and others. Lots of people are finding out about Alan and several top shooters are using his rest upgrades.
Good luck keeping up Alan!;)

Uncle Wayne you finishing 2nd was no accident you shot a solid match . Might have been the chauffeur lol , I know Alan does a great job on the Farley’s and he now has my seb max working his magic on it . Can’t wait to see the improvements he’s made on it , maybe I’ll get some of that on top of the game magic sent my way.
Thnx in advance Alan wofford

Well, I guess now you will be wanting to have a separate class for Farleys and Sebs!?

After meeting Alan at my first match in Georgia last year we struck up a friendship right away. I was shooting off a Seb mini and he wanted do his magic on it over the off season. In the interim I bought a new Seb neo and sent it directly to him. The difference is incredible. Cannot say enough about his work! Worth every penny.

I've know Alan for a couple of years now and his work is second to none for tuning up a Farley, NEO or Lenzi. He's done my Lenzi and one of my NEO's and his fee is worth every penny. I'm even gonna see if he can tune up my goat. Uncle Wayne, don't put yourself down, just a few more gulps of Ronnie's GA stump water and have Cline sell you some good bullets instead of those culls that he's been selling you and you'll end up in 1st place.

Sorry for the long post above y'all. Evidently my typing is like my shooting most of the time: I just git started and forget when to quit!

"Pagnasty", PLeeze come down to the Tack Driver.
Uncle Wayne, I am going down to Orangeburg one month before the tack driver to shoot the 2-300 Nationals. It's 998 miles one way from my house in Maine to Orangeburg. I really don't feel like making 2 trips like that a month apart or else I would. I made the mistake of moving in the wrong direction 15 years ago. Cline doesn't want me in SC, Milford doesn't want me in Georgia, Ezell quit selling real estate because he didn't want me in KY, Powers doesn't want me in NC, Apple doesn't want me in FL, Dewey doesn't want me in MD, I feel like a goat herder without a country. Now I'm stuck up here for at least a few more years because all these Mainer's love my goats. Plus if I move down south there is no way I'm ever going to find any authentic Italian food joints down there, All I'm going to have to eat is fried chicken, biscuits with gravy, collards and grits. Man I will die eating that stuff. Man I was born and raised on Wop Slop. I can't function eating what y'all eat down there. I'll end up getting Cannolivirus 20 or some shit like that.

Jim, I was a Hoosier my first 33 yrs. Loved a prime rib, I mean LOVED one.
After 33 yrs on the coast of SC, I'll take Real BBQ, pork ribs please, over anything else.
Grits, oatmeal, cream of wheat.....all good.
I am back in IN now, missing my ribs. But my wife does an excellent job on baby backs so I'm surviving, no D. T.s

Well guys I think I picked a perfect time to have my back surgery if I had waited a couple more days probably wouldnt have happened thank god it’s done and on the high road to recovery and yes paganelli my wife has 8 goats 7 of which are expecting little ones Might need a sheep herder before long but you’ll have to learn to drink the ga stump water like I do with all this time off I have about ran out of barrels to chamber and guns are getting new brass and tuned man I wish November would come early this year

Ronnie well said !
Our shooting community is a tight group.
We pray for our family, friends and fellow shooters at every match for comfort to those who have lost loved ones, healing of sickness and injuries, difficulties in business and life problems in general.
Not only let us pray over the current virus situation but also for our country and our president that God will help him to make the right decisions with regards to all that is going on.
Let us continue to pray without ceasing.

Well Ronnie get yourself a set of dies and start making bullets if you want something to do. I need bullets desperately and Cline won't sell me anymore. I'd ask WillyTP for some but I know he's turn me down also so I'm not about to ask him. I'll get the lesser evolved to bring down one of his famous rhubarb pies and terrodactyl soup and you'll get them 5 bullets back I promise. After eating his soup and pie I'll show you how to chase it down with da GA stump water because we need to kill the bacteria in that food of his. In fact I'm sure the Corona crap started up here when the lesser evolved came out of his cave way too early. All those diseases from the cave got let loose, but I bet you dat GA stump water will be the next cure for corona crappola. You told me your wife's goats are going to have kids, well them goats must of spent a little time in Maine for sure. Don't be surprised when them goats have Fauns and not kids. In Roman mythology a Faun is half man/half goat.

I won't be able to make this one, Ronnie. Ask the chef to give you my steak. You give Cline half and y"all put it on Jim Pag"s tab. He got plenty of money after selling all that goat meat this winter!!
