Hopefully I can get down a day early and get my initial set ups done
and out of the way, freeing up time for someone else......Is it still one
hour of practice then rotate to one hour of flag setting.....??

No sir. Range will go hot at 8 am and stay hot until noon except to change a few targets. Closes at 12 and opens back at 1pm and will stay hot until 3:30 pm and then it is closed for the day to allow backers to be changed for the match.

That’s nothing new. We shoot that same weekend every other year, so this year should be no different than the previous years.

The “Lady in Black” is not being nice to us shooters this weekend. She said she was warming up for the “great shooters” to arrive in just 12 days!

I had to put off my departure for a bit. At least I got a chance to do some more shooting. Still no mirage though. The 308 is as ready as it will ever be. WH

Actually got to shoot some yesterday before it rained, think I may have hit a good combination of seating depth and powder in the 6 Dasher. Kinda hoping for some other conditions to shoot in before having to load up the ammo for TD6.

Just do like the rest of us do. Put out 45 box fans pointing in 45 different directions and then put on a blind fold.

Yeah and I don't think 90 degree, and 95% humidity is going to be anywhere close to Orangeburg either, although the mirage was certainly close at Tomball yesterday. At least until the clouds showed up.

All packed up and ready to go. Our first overnight will be Lewiston, Idaho. No freezing temps along the way, so I was able to fill up with water for the trip. I have a minimalist approach to loading ammunition, all of my equipment and components fit into a small container. I believe I've mentioned, my effort is 1980 vintage BR. WH
