Heck, Jim, I put in a huge effort this year and the results were my worst showing ever.
So next year I think I am going to toss a rifle, my equipment, and my wife in the truck and just show up.

Just turn your parallax adjustment about 200 yards out of focus and fire away. That will be perfect practice for the Tackdriver!! lol

Note to self if I ever plan to attend TD: Since I would violate one or more of the basic rules by shooting blindfolded... find a place to practice at 300m where I can see the target but cannot see the lines on the target due to mirage and the wind is erratic. Preferrably using similar targets as used in TD.

I have a 300 meter range, with very changeable winds, but there are other issues. My range is at 3000 ft and arid. Orangeburg is about 400 and a little more humid. I kind of think the first year will be largely devoted to learning the range. We'll see! The thing is every range is different, at least to a point. I think the biggest challenge will be seeing those bullet holes at 300m. WH

Look at all the excitement that this match generates. People creating threads on scopes used, podcast after podcast,digging up the past history of the previous 4 events and NEW guns or calibers being tried. With a LR shooter winning this event with a 6BRA shows it can be done. Most of the LR shooters struggled real bad at the first and second one with Bart showing them a BRA can win. Who knows what will prevail TD 6? I can only guarantee that a great time will be had by all and I will give everyone in attendance a match to remember! 362 days to plan!!!!

Joe, it’s really pretty easy.
Just find a combination shooting a bullet at 2900 fps with around a 700 ballistic coefficient that will agg at .200 or better.
