I CAN tell you what not to do...............setting in 12th place in group after 4 targets then DON'T shoot a 4.2" group! Fell to 84th. I still have an inquiry out to NASA about using the Hubble telescope OR some type of laser they can go through mirage............I’m really trying to forget TD5, but god it was so much fun.
It’s the kind of fun like when a tattoo is over and your sad it’s over, kind of fun.
I brought down two good shooters for their first time, and both were throughly humbled.
So what am I bringing next year, I don’t know.
So how do you prepare, I don’t know.
So how do I get better at TD, I really don’t know.
What I do know is I’ll have another headache thanks to Roy at TD6.
That’s really all I know.
Maybe try a 300 Lazzeroni eagle war hawk thingAnybody see any potential?

Wasn’t a close variant of the 30x47 the king of the hunter class when it had a minimum case capacity restriction? I wonder if something shooting the 185gn Juggernaut might not do well. That bullet always seems to shoot really well in just about anything.Anybody see any potential?

Very true. And i shot a 6mm five years straight. To no avail with my old eyes. Couldnt be lack of skill. For 5 years straight...6mms have won. Lights flashing.....ding ding ding.
I mean, for the man who avoids backroads and enjoys the interstate, there’s always a 6mm. Some of us like to wander a bit, knowing the interstate is there but wanting a more scenic route for our travels. For 5 years straight...6mms have won. Lights flashing.....ding ding ding.
Could be a rough ride!..lol..I mean, for the man who avoids backroads and enjoys the interstate, there’s always a 6mm. Some of us like to wander a bit, knowing the interstate is there but wanting a more scenic route for our travels.
And some of us drive through waist high water pulling a travel trailer and still shoot a 6mm.I mean, for the man who avoids backroads and enjoys the interstate, there’s always a 6mm. Some of us like to wander a bit, knowing the interstate is there but wanting a more scenic route for our travels.
Neck down that 30 GT to 7mm and get some 100 grain Sierra Varmints.Anybody see any potential?

Yep. Kind of hard to improve what you can't see to begin with huh?I simply have to improve my shooting. The only piece of equipment I might change is invest in what ever the latest $4000+ scope is out at the moment that claims to have good enough glass and internals to see something on a bright sunny day at Orangeburg.
That animal might not even exist.
