Maybe I can get in on the next years shoot. Can't depend on the Texians that went this year to bring home the gold the next year. Suppose I can follow Wes up there and pick up all the stuff he loses along the way.
I heard a rumor a certain gunsmith, from FL, has ordered some slow twist 6MM barrels. I wonder what those could be for? He needs to start training for the time around the fire barrel.

I had a 243AI that was a shooter for about 700 rounds!! You might be thinking of my 6BRDX I have that still shoots great. It looks like no one uses a straight 6br?? The 6br I built for 300 yd clays is a shooter too but seems like everyone at TD wants a little more horse power??

I'd hate to see everyone attending this match end up shooting the same cartridge. The diversity of equipment at this match seems to be waning as time goes by.
It's easy to see that the 6ppc has been dominant this far, but without diversity to me it becomes just another benchrest match.
I have shot a 22ppc both times I have attended and will when I come back. Maybe it's to my detriment, but I love doing things differently.
