And back to you George. See you next year.Wishing a joyful and blessed New Year to our expanding Tack Driver family.
May the upcoming year also bring about tighter groups and centered scores!
I started working on that the day after I got home from this year‘s Tack Driver. The reason for the season.....Yinz all have a fruitful 2024
Fuj.....
Not fair. It’s only 30 degrees here and my powder is frozen.I started working on that the day after I got home from this year‘s Tack Driver.
I am sitting here drinking some coffee and eating a bowl of Cheerios contemplating on whether I should drive over to my Gun Club. I spent yesterday there, working with the Barts 80 grn out of my 6BRA.
It is shooting really well, but I have got to “re-learn” my shooting style in the Group Portion of the Tack Driver if I am going to get to the top in the Grand Agg.
This Match is becoming an obsession. The Format does indeed combine aspects of both Short Range and Long Range Precision and Accuracy. When you toss in the ever looming factor of the unforgiving nature of the OrangeBurg range, the task almost seems impossible.
I wish I was 50 again, at least I might have time to figure it all out before the Grim Reaper closes the bolt for the last time.![]()
This is exactly what the goal of the Tack Driver was! Wanted to create excitement for all shooters and fuel their desire to get on top of the “Tack Driver” mountain! There are plenty of happy gunsmiths, barrel manufacturers, bullet makers, and many other firearm related businesses that are benefiting from this match with all the creative ideas and techniques. Looking forward to what Tack Driver 5 has in store for the shooters and as a match director, I promise to keep you all on your toes as I am also thinking what I can do to make this a better match! 120 registered and 19 on the waiting list as of today. I will be meeting with the executive board of my gun club to discuss some possible range improvements and expansion! Happy New year and may 2024 be YOUR year!I started working on that the day after I got home from this year‘s Tack Driver.
