If you don’t do this, follow his and Bart’s invaluable advice. There are also many others on this site that plain know what they are talking about and have proved it out consistently at the range. Be like Mike.1. No, start with combustion (charge) first then go to harmonics (depth) second. A good place to start is touching (+ or - 1-2 thou) the lands.
2. Wrong.
3. In the end you would be better off using Alpha Dasher or Lapua and DJ.
I think your best use of time would be to take Stan up on his offer.
This can be a rough and tumble place, tho nowhere near as bad as SnippersHell.... which is chock full of trolls and 'tudes. One fella in particular.... and his posse....DON'T EVER disagree with him. He'll falsely accuse you then ban you.I thought I was helping a fella out a while back and got my head torn off for my efforts so im reframing from any advice giving, I may mention how I do a certain phase but that's about the extent of it. Now I delete almost every post after a short period and I really don't regret it.
So true Wyoming. My scores have went up exponentially since I joined this site. There is fantastic info here and if you are open minded and willing to listen and learn, the results will be fantastic. I just started shooting free recoil about 6 months and it has completely changed my life. I went for being a consistent 191-194 shooter at 600 yards, to “cleaning” 6 of my last 8 targets, and finishing 3rd in our 600 yard state championship.Powder testing = flat spot / node / same velocity between two consecutive charges
Bullet seating = group size
@Dave M. is trying to help
There is a ton of good info here. Be willing to change, if you want change.
We are all on the steep part of the curve. If you are not, you better plan on getting passed up.Me too

Shot my personal best today at 600 yards (599-46X), and lost to a great shooter who happen to tie his own National Record of 600-53X. Great shooting by Bret Solomon. Incredibly smooth shooter and equipment that can REALLY shoot. So true Wyoming. My scores have went up exponentially since I joined this site.
