Stekl Barrel

I recently acquired 2 Stekl stainless heavy bull barrels. They chambered in 6br .262. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the value of these barrels and also set me down the right path for building a br rifle around one of these barrels. Thanks.

Better find out if Jim chambered in 6BR Remington or 6BR Norma, They are not quite the same. The price for used barrels varys a lot depending on how many rounds down the chamber. The true value is how they shoot. Do you know what they were threaded to fit?

As far as I know they haven't been fired, don't know what they are chambered for or the threading. How would I find this out?

Take it to a gunsmith and get the threads measured. Have a chamber cast made so he can tell you more about them.

Since Jim worked in the custom shop it will be a Remington type barrel. I bought some old Remington custom shop XBR scopes from Jim in the last year I believe band talked to him about the time of last years Super Shoot.
Jim's true love is the XP100 which he was instrumental in bring out.
