So what is your build for next year?

I know it is kind of early as we still have the Nationals for UBR and several state championships coming up but I can't help but think of what I may want to do over the winter. As stated I shoot UBR short range 100 yards to 300 meters, I'm think I'll put a custom class (13.5 pound gun) gun together built on a Terry Leonard stock, BAT B action, Bartlien barrel with an Ezell tuner, jewell trigger with Dwight Scotts magic touch and probably another 6MM, My real dream is to have @Bc'z do a paint job on it! So tell me what discipline you shoot and what you are wanting to build.

Don't shoot competitive but my next build is already on the table underway with (WSMNUT) Zack @ ODCR 6BRX. This is number 7 for me with him and 2 other builds for close friends. How could you do a better deed for a friend than introduce them to Zack ?

I shoot F Class (TR), LR bench rest, and SR UBR. I have nice builds for each of those. Considering another build for LR BR, possibly a heavy gun but still not sure. Availability of bullets is holding me back a bit. I have more than enough to feed my current rifles for a long time and am good on powder and primers but If I choose another caliber bullet I will need to see some availability before I build

My BR build for this year is turning into a next year, just waiting on parts.

Next years plan is a western hunt instead of a rifle.

2023 build is in the process of what i want for the build. Plan is an ELR 7mm Rem Mag.

Yeah me too, besides it’s gave me a chance to get better aquatinted with the Borden drop port.
He actually sent me a tracking number last week but still hadn’t shipped the rifle.

Building a PRS rig to give that game a try; got the barreled action from the smith earlier in the week, but I'm still waiting on all the other components.

F-Class will always be the priority, but my smith is big into the PRS scene, there are some big monthly matches nearby, and I'd like to see what all the fuss is about while I still have functioning joints. Much like F-Class, I will probably be freaking terrible at it. I've never even owned a mil scope, and I've shot less than ~5k 6mm rounds in my life.

Worst case if I don't like it, I'll just cut it down and turn it into a ranch/truck gun.

Having used a Savage 10 for a 6SLR build that is not finished yet..I will likely use the barrel for a 223 varmint gun. Possibly a Howa mini action. The barrel will be shortened to 20in, threaded for a silencer and a short freebore to match the magazine length. Not sure of the stock yet.

Also a thought of a 22 FTR rifle in the near future...Walther or Annie would be a go.

Probably try upgrading some things on the bench instead of the Arsenal. Put 2 builds together this year already so need to take a little break on the wallet. Would like to upgrade the press, pick up some expander mandrels, ans a couple optical upgrades. Then if funds are still left over there’s 2 hunting/prs builds I’d like to do. Just need to narrow them down.
