So what is your build for next year?

Just re-working a couple 6 BRA rifles looking for that ever elusive "Hummer" barrel! Another rifle will turn from a 6 BRA into a 22 pound 6 PPC which will be a blast to shoot and may end up being the right medicine for the Tack Driver III. I also hope to have a 10.5 pound 6 PPC ready in time for the last Super Shoot at Kelblys.

Dave.

Had such a wonderful time last year shooting a borrowed 17lb light gun from a good friend of mine at Williamsport, decided to build one of my own. Standard stuff, Bat B, carbon fiber MBR. Have 4 barrels, 2 Bruce and 2 Kreiger all 8 twist.236. 1 will become a Br and the others Dashers. If the fund’s hold out paint will be by BC’s.

5 or 6 + years ago, picked up a Flint Lock Fowler "kit" to build. Started on it then the spirit went on a LOONG trip. Just couldn't get motivated again. Got a little bit of the bug but not enough for Me" to dive back into building.
Found a builder that needed another project so the 'kit' landed at his house before Christmas. At least "someone" has the spirit.
Got a couple of BP rigs that need to go "down the road" to someone that will enjoy shooting them.
Have done a few Ruger 10/22 rim fire builds as well as some center fires in the last few years.

My other build in 2022 will be a 284 Win on a Kelbly Atlas long action with an 8 twist, 28” Krieger HV profile barrel. I’m using a scooped forearm Revolution bench rest stock in desert that I found at Protektor Model. I have plenty of H4831 and LRP’s, but not bullets. I’m hoping to find some Berger 180 VLD’s before the rifle gets built.

This rifle is a copy down to the reamer of a rifle a friend is shooting in our 600 yd club matches. I haven’t been able to beat him so I hope I can join him. Later I will probably also buy a chassis for the rifle that will be a lot of fun to shoot off a bipod out to 1200-1400 yds on the rare occasions I get to stretch it out a bit.

I finally have a build planned for this year.

Pierce 223 action in an Eliseo R5 chassis with a BnA Tacsport. Criterion remage barrel.
Gonna give a bolt action in 'cross the course' another go.
