So what is your build for next year?

I just finished surgery on my SA284 rig. Happy to say the
scale says 16.75 lbs. I'll make weight for Ridgway. Now to
focus on my 284-ELF for Anderson Creek as soon as the
new Hart barrel hits my door step.

Sometime next year when my 6 Creedmoor barrel is worn out, I will convert the rifle to a tight-neck 6XC (reamer is a custom JGS 6XC II LT With a 0.270 neck). The barrel blank is an HV profile 7.5 twist Krieger. The current rifle has a Revolution laminated stock and an American Rifle Company Nucleus Gen. 1 action.

I am doing a .224 SAUM AI, currently have a 25 SAUM and a 6 SAUM. Also building a .257 Blackbird, which is a 7 Blaser Magnum necked down to 25. Also doing a straight 7 Blaser Magnum. The first one to get done will be the 7 Blaser Magnum. The reamers are in as well as the resizing remaers and go gauges. Also bought Newlon Blanks for a custom S die for them. Cant wait for the .224 SAUM AI, reamer is in route right now.i

I'm a bit of a speed freak at times, can you expand a bit on the 6mm SAUM? Just some details and ballistics would be great!

Banging around different disciplines for years has led me back to a PRS type of shooting. Just got my Impact build rebarreled with a Bartlein barrel this year and stuck with the somewhat forgotten 6.5cm. Couldn't be happier with it at 500 rounds on the new tube. Having our own shop does lead me to day dreaming about a new build often but think I'll try to concentrate just pulling the trigger some more. It is not like me to not chase new Shiney things but I'm going to try and resist.
For me, shooting is a fun activity that I am not great at but really enjoy the challenge and fellowship.

Just finished one of next years projects, built a Rem 700 6x45. Starting another rifle for next year built on a left handed Savage target action, 6XC. Still lining up supplies for it but have new barrel in hand. X-Caliber 26 inch 1-7 twist 5-R rifling heavy MTU taper with threaded muzzle.

Well, ya gotta love how plans change.

One friend passed 2 Mausers onto me.
First is a Spanish Mauser in 7X57 Mauser.
Action & barrel look decent. Still has the flip up rear sight on it.
The stock is another story. Yet another "Custom Stock by Bubba". Plan is to find parts & put back to original and give back to him.

The second is a commercial rifle built by "Firearms Co. Alpine".
It's a long action stamped "7.62X2.49" ala 30-06.
Bluing look to be black spray paint. Stock on this one is REALLY nice!
Debating on rebarreling to either 25-06, or 280AI.

And another friend wants to do his first rifle build. He asked for help, and i'm happy to!
He wants a 284 Win.
Original plan was a donor Zastava Mauser. But he waited too long & the shop that had them, no longer does.
So he bought a new Savage Axis II for his donor.
Plan is a 24" Douglas barrel & a Boyds Prarrie Hunter stock.

Just finished my 10/22 for Silhoettes. Factory action and bolt, BoydsStocks, Shaw barrel, Timney Calvin Elite trigger, Gun Skin vinyl on my Leupold 4x14x50. Bypods over kill, won’t use it. And a whole lot of Krylon n clear. This gun’s just for kicks. I’ll probably shoot it a couple times and give it to one of the kids at the match.

Building a more dedicated PRS/Hunter series rifle. Already have the Brux 1:7.5t HV barrel and a Blackjack 25x47L Gen2 Spec JGS reamer. Going with either a Defiance Ruckus or Borden Mountaineer for the action, Foundation Centurion stock, and TT Diamond 2 stage. Not sure on glass right now, but I have an Arken SH4 that can be used until I decide which way I want to go. Heck of a scope for $400...

for me the next two are upgrade new versions of current rifles.
one) is a 30br heavy(13.5) short range br rifle for 100/200, bat action, no stock picked yet
two) is a 6 dasher with a drop port brmxd, and a wheeler accuracy lrb stock for 600/1000 br, nf 15-55x probably a jewel trigger
both will be krieger bbls

@ Thud,..
They'd sell like, Hot Cakes at, $50.00 - $60.00, a Thou !
Sell Stock in, the Company !
Bet that, a chit Ton of, Guys on here, would buy IN !

I'm putting together a 375 Raptor that will take til next year to complete. Have a 4 month wait on the dies I ordered today.

Its addicting, the quest for the utmost consistency and accuracy in precision reloading.
Agree with this ^^ !
I've got to "work-up" better loads for, my last 2, New, Rifles ! ( a 6 XC and a 6.5 Creed ) and a couple of Rifles that, I didn't even, get to shoot much, last year. Hoping to get, my 6XC shooting into, the 2's ( Now getting, 3's ).
But, my .270 WSM's Elk load is, DONE and perfected, as it "Hammered" an Elk, a couple of Weeks, ago, it was, DRT with, 140 Bergers at, 3,185 FPS and getting, sub 3/4 MOA groups ( did, a 5" group, at 700 Yards ).
Can't think of, another Rifle that, I "need" at, the moment so,.. I'll PASS !

Once I have my SA built, I will only be having barrels spun fo a while. That’s the big benefit of custom actions with guaranteed tolerance and a talented local gunsmith. Between my two rifles I’ll be able to handle anything up to WSM/SAUM sized cartridges, optimally seated

I plan on a 6.5 AR Grendel Build that I will use for hog hunting. I have already started purchasing the components for this build and I'm only waiting on the barrel.

Lefty I am with you. I am still trying to perfect on my 2 Bob Green rifles from 1999 and 2000. Guess I am a slow learner. I encourage every one to build a new rifle though because it will be better.
