when forming brass to send in to get custom dies built you usually have to fire those brass at least three times so they are completely formed to the chamber. just neck size these so you dont push the shoulder back. Anyway you need a way to load them to start with so you need access to dies before you order your custom dies.I have realistic expectations. The only thing that I have to shoot is my 6.5 RPR so I'll be in Open. Heck of a way to start out. lol...

With a woodworking shop like yours I can't wait to see the bench. I hope you'll post a picture. Keep in mind trigger time will yield better results than loading room time.Good luck with your project. JDSo much for the $1000 budget. The reality of the situation is that I want/like nice tools. I want/like to know that I have the right thing to accomplish whatever it is I'm trying to accomplish. I realize that everyone will never be able to agree on every item but this is what I've ended up with. I feel like it's a pretty good list. Items in bold are ordered. Items not in bold are on the "waiting for disposable funds replenishment ie: Christmas bonus" list. Ended up 2 plus times the original budget so I'd say all things are just about normal.
I'm now working on plans for the reloading bench and such in my gun room. Should be a fun project.

Oh, no. SorryI'm in Springdale, Ar.
T, lotsa good advice. Maya’s we’ll get quickload if you can plug in a hairdryer. Yea, lmao. Huge help in seeing how loads work. All the bestThanks. I have a bench plan. Nothing very fancy but should be solid. I plan on making a reloading room thread when I get a bit farther.
