In post #87 common sense is mentioned. How can we expect commonsense from the population when they are taught in school that you can pick your sex and use any bathroom you want. And if that isn't good enough we will use tax dollars to alter your genitalia to suite your expectations.

I just helped a "friend of a friend" attempt to sight in his chosen deer rifle. 760 Gamemaster, chinese / Amazon junk 6 x 24 scope with a stupid Christmas tree reticle. The guy didn't know what the AO was for, was shaking like a leaf, the trigger was absolutely terrible (probably 6-8 pounds at least) and the old rifle probably had never been cleaned properly. Couldn't hit the side of a barn if he was inside the barn. Some people should just find another hobby.
I think that would apply to any sport or activity. New sport? Nah. How about educating in this one you’re struggling with. Gee, a nice challenge.
There’s a saying, “ if you think you can do everything well, try sailing.

A couple of days ago I helped a good friend/church buddy and his wife check their 100 yard zero's and tweek them a touch on their hunting rifles. We shoot pistols and rifles together a bit. I'm always on the defense when shooting with someone new until I see how safe they are or aren't. From there I explain how and why we do our safety protocol during competition and that we are running our line like that.
My wife and I went to our Church bussiness meeting last night and while there our friends wife sent a picture of an 11 point buck she shot through the heart at around 100 yards with her .30-06 about 30 minutes before dark.
