Shipping Delays, Tracking Issues with USPS

I have 2 item I sold in transit with USPS. One to VA one to MO. Both have stopped moving according to USPS tracking. Both say "Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility.". Richmond VA one has been like this for a week. It is even headed for a PO too. Making me look bad and worry I may need to start sending refunds or insurance claims.

Anybody have any insight?

I've had 1 stock get delayed in shipping a week ago.
When this covid crap started I had a couple trades sit in shoppers state a week before they moved.
Go to post office to get up to date tracking info. Thier online system isn't kept current.

Mailed a bbl to Skeetlee 29 July. Rcpt said 1 Aug delivery. It showed up YESTERDAY.
I am curious how the CVid is slowing them down by that much. Guess I just don't know the system.

Sent a medium priority box packed full of .223 brass from MD to TX, on Friday 8/7, arrived Monday 8/9. People get sick, summer is vacation time and add in the virus. Delays are stated on the website. These are not normal times.

my package is coming from iowa to md, it was shipped on 8/4 with 2 day shipping,
today is day 7. there is defiantly an issue. the other package shipped same day from same vendor arrived yesterday

I've heard it has to do with the rioting in various parts of the country. Weather this is true or not is just speculation and hearsay.
We shut cable off 6 months ago, got sick and tired of a leftist agenda being pushed down our throat.

Hmm.
I shipped two small FR Priority boxes and both attired on time yesterday. One to CO and one to AR.
While I had seen delays from USPS a couple months ago it it not the case for me right now.

I believe the Postmaster General made some executive decisions to "cut expenses". Translation: sloooooower mail delivery.

I had a package take 31 days to go from Ohio to Central Michigan. It made about half of the trip in 2 days and sat in Allan Park for the rest.

The whole process of shipping is really messed up right now.

This sounds like what I'm dealing with. There has to be an SNL skit in this somewhere

A very recent new appointee with zero experience, now oversees the USPS. Some see it as a ploy to avoid mail in ballots in November.

Guys... this is probably the sixth thread in the last two weeks complaining about shipping delays and tracking errors.

Yes such problems are more frequent now -- caused, in large part, by significant increases in online shopping and shipping to homes.

Yes there are delays.

Yes there are problems with all shipping services.

Yes you should buy insurance!

No, there is nothing this thread will change about the problem.
