Shipping Delays -- Purposeful torture? A plot?

I just received a box that was shipped in September this last week. The entire USPS needs to be Nuked and the mail handed to another company that can make it work, I won’t use them ever again if it’s avoidable and I’ll gladly pay 2-3 times to keep from it. They suck donkey balls,,,

I went to the P.O. last week to ship a 2 day priority box. At the counter was the office head, I told her I needed 150.00 insurance. And that I have not ever had a claim covered. Also that you will not be contacted by a person, as you submit claims online. She said "I didn't know that", she knows me by name, I asked her if she has seen a claim with my name. "No". I told her as much taxpayer money goes to the USPS, a insurance claim should be a serious matter, especially lost or stolen mail. She looked at me a said the post office "doesn't get taxpayer money", I asked her where the BILLIONS went, she said "she would check". I thought totally clueless.

The USPS is indeed not funded by federal funds. The operate strictly from profits from selling stamps and other mailing services (cost of postage, boxes/mailers, etc)

UPS has now (as of 3/14) gone from due on 3/12 to "as soon as possible" which sounds suspiciously like "we lost it to a package thief who is shooting it up in his gat" and you are screwed Snert.

Postal Unions do not allow the firing of slow employees, nor those that are mentally disabled. If they come in off the boat, the post office will hire them. Fed Ex or UPS will eventually take over the post office.

Yesterday at the Post office. Got a tracking update on a Blue Collar order saying that the package was delivered to the post office at 0700. About noon, I went to the post office to pick up the mail and took the delivery notice for my package with me. I asked to pick up the package. The guy looked at the notice and told me that I couldn't get the package today, that I would have to wait until tomorrow. I asked why and was told "because". He didn't like it when I told him that his lack of action was pure laziness.
I got home and checked the tracking again and the updated information said it was in the mailbox and had been delivered while I was driving home.
If the swamp ever gets drained, the Post Office would be a good place to start.

UPS (not USPS) has the following info...from the automated voice recording "doesn't answer anything but does it in a nice voice" feature.
LEFT PV on 8th from Wichita. Arrived Lenexa KS on 9, left Lenexa on 9th for Hodgkins IL. Arrive Hodgkins on 9th, and says it left on the 9th. Then it says it left on the 10th, arrived in New Stanton Pa (hour from me) on 11th. But then it says it left Hodgkins IL (not New stanton) on the 12th, with no indication it went back to Hodgkins from New Stanton...and says it arrived at New Stanton on the 14th, and the next entry says it left Hodgkins IL four hours later....with no indication it ever went back to Hodgkins....

Ether-zoned for sure.

I am calling PV next. The UPS system for customer care is designed to delay, mislead, avoid and hide. I am suspecting it never left from Hodgkins IL except in someones trunk.

Now it is a label that is floating around. Seems amazing to me that a package would scan in PA then again in IL within four hours later, both "leaving". If it is on a plane, why not unload it after scanning it? Why send it back to IL? Because it isn't really there.

Maybe IL has a train station like the one in CA that Newsome is so proud of?

I bought an expensive winch for my jeep. It was to be delivered to the local auto parts store by Fed-EX with in 2 or 3 days. A week later the destroyed empty box was delivered. A few days later another winch arrived at the auto parts store. The winch may be on the front of a Fed-Ex contract employee's jeep. I bought a micrometer off this site last week, it was delivered by USPS in about 4 days, great service. I've had more difficulties with Fed-Ex than others, one package I tracked was with-in 30 miles then went on a 500 mile excursion.

GLORY GLORY it arrived. I guess the call from PV saying it was lost motivated them and next thing you know it went from IL to PA in a jiffy.

I'm poopin in high cotton with 3 pounds of 2200 and one of CFE BLK. Enough to burn up the barrel in my new 20VT. WOOHOO>

....and after that, you still want to put that scope in the mail to me?

Not gun related, but I’ve had toe packages that were 2nd day air, but took 3+ weeks to get here, if they got here. I put in a claim with UPs on the package for my wife that cost $500. I haven’t heard a peep from it.

I wouold deliver if you lived nearby! And trust me, I am concerned. Big.
Don’t put your name on it! I’m thinking some guy you busted back in the day works at the Post Office. o_O You do have an unforgettable name!
