Scopes for $2500 and under

I'm about to scope another long range gun. 300 prc, 300 wm, 6.5 creedmoor is the calibers it would be used for. Rangea at 100, 200, 500 600,800,100 and a few stabs at 1200 -1500.
I'm presently running an swfa 5-20, and I do like it, but curious what others may have found at a good price point.
Requirements:
Variable, highest power available
First focal plane
Mildot reticle
Clear optics
Repeatedly
Rugged
Zero stop a plus

I'm looking at leupold ( but heard bad things about quality recently)
Vortex
Night force ($$)
And looking at another Swfa sense they have most of my requirements.

Insight? Lessons learned? I'm thinking I don't need a $4k scope..

I got my night force nxs 5.5 x 22 x 56 with zero stop and illuminated reticle for $2100 that’s about what they go for anywhere not a special deal I don’t know if the NXS is available in first focal plane but you can definitely get a mill or moa reticle My second scope is a nightforce atacr 5 x 25 x 56 With digilum illuminated reticle and of course zero stop they are normally $2600 or so I got that for 2100 also through europtic it was a demo at shot show when I received it you would never know it was completely repackaged by nightforce and as far as I was concerned was brand new

Keep your eye out for a used Kahles 624 Gen-3. At $22 to $2500. is where you will most likely be. I use March scopes on my bench guns and couldn't be happier. But the mentioned Kahles with the parallax knob under the elevation and the left side windage, illumination & 34mm tube with the MOAK reticle in FFP really is a pleasure to own & operate.........Best of luck with your decision...

Rick

I've heard good stuff about the Trijicon scopes. The new 34mm main-tube models. - They have both FFP & SFP. - I haven't tried them yet myself.

Sightron has a new FFP scopes (https://sightronusa.com/riflescopes/siii-first-focal-plane-series/)
I have a bunch of SIII's and SVSS's (all SFP scopes) and the quality and features are excellent.

No, you don't necessarily need a 4K scope.

I've compared 5x20 SWFA glass side by side to the NF 5.5x22 NSX and the glass is very close. Other than the Zero Stop the NSX doesn't offer anything. The Atacr however is a definitely a big step above both.

Sightron Has finally come out with something I have said years now! They have a coarse and a fine adjustment on there parallax. And 34 mm tube. This should be an up and coming scope.

Joe, This hit the market in late 2015 with the first models (27000 & 27001) and now it is also available on the ED models (27008 & 27011). - It is excellent and IMO provides a means to obtain razor sharp optical clarity.

Looks like a good price, but all I find are 2nd focal plane.

Ron two weeks ago was the first time I seen one and had it in my hands. It's a little on the heavy side but as for parallax I've been telling people coarse and fine for over ten years.
