Scope level for 200 Yards?

At a distance of 200Y is a scope level relative? Is it a matter of "if I think it's relative it is"?

Just wondering what the masses think.

Thanks!

Without a use that is great question with a million answers. Specify a use scenario then you will get some answers. The days of a 4x scope was all you need can still apply, however I do not subscribe to that logic.

Well said..
Shooting off a front rest, rear bag. 60x scope trying for tiny groups.

This all depends what you’re doing. When I was around 12 I remember my brother taking me to the river as long as I could hit a paper plate at 100 yards he was happy. Now if your benchrest it matters

Target boards not really level... I do however mostly shoot black 1/2" circles.

I would like to think the scope is level/plumb.
Amen to this. Huge pet peave of mine is when I get back to the bench, get all setup ready to shoot and notice that I hung my target parallel with the target board and the board was all slanted.

If you do the geometry it tells you that for every degree of rifle/scope cant at 200 yards your bullet will move about 0.150". But a degree is actually quite a bit when you have a frame of reference in your scope, such as a square target to line up on.

For my 600,800,900&1000 Yard F/Class Shooting I find a Level handy.
Testing my .22 Rim Fire at 50yards using a Scope level a little cant is big on paper ?
One size shoe doesn't fit everyone.
