Savage LRPV is different from 12 LRP.
LRPV is single shot and LRP has a detachable magazine.

Well I’ll be. First and only one I have ever seen. Cool !
i dont know if a single shot follwer will work or if they will let you use it but its about 1/4 in thick . Woud have to be glued to the bedding of the stockSorry I didn't fully explain what I was doing. I started with a 308 VLP/Wood stock. When I added my Nightforce scope I was too heavy for the Cast Bullet 12 lb production class limit. This stock popped up on eBay and is about 7 oz lighter, so I went with it and now I'm 11 lb 14 oz with my Night Force. My cast bullets will not chamber without help because they are a flat nose bullet. I immediately assumed there must be another piece/ sled or something Factory that I was missing until you guys mentioned that they didn't come with anything like that. After you guys enlightened me to that fact I threw a jacketed/pointed bullet in it and it centered and chambered like a champ. It appears to only need about a quarter of an inch of lift under the nose of the bullet and I'm guessing it will work great. I'm still re reading and enjoying all of your responses. Thank you all!

You could try this but you might have to cut out a slot in the stock and glue it. As others have said the single shot actions the feed tray is milled into the action
Fred sled! He doesn't make the metal ones anymore but the polymer version works great and is slick as can be. Installed Fred's polymer sled in my cast shooting buddy's rifle since his peripheral neuropathy is so bad he cannot manipulate a cartridge in the center feed mag lips anymore. This is the best option to use a repeater action in a 4.4” bolt spacing single shot stock.
With these all you have to do is to round the bottom side edges to match the same contour as the action and it will fit without any modification to the stock. It doesn’t need much and takes about 10 minutes to do.
