This is a rem 783 with a criterion in 6xc shot with irons and a sling at 600. The barrel nuts work pretty well but it would be nice to see what a cut rifled one would do

I’d not hesitate to use a Bighorn either.

They both are 700 footprint, use 700 triggers and use Savage Prefit barrels.

Thanks John, I just ordered the Bighorn Origin. Savage prefits and rem700 foot print. Lots of triggers, stocks and bottom metal options. Comes out in august. That gives me time to buy all that stuff. Mike.
