REMINGTON/SAVAGE CONVERSION

Has anybody used the remage nut conversion ? This turns your remington into a savage type barrel/nut system so you can change the barrel the same way as on the savage action? I know that pacnor calls it a pacnut conversion and have heard that shilen is entering that market and lilja will make them on request is what I have heard.If anyone can confirm that you can get good accuracy and show pics if you can.Any help would be appreciated as I want to go this way to try it out. Contact Jim Briggs (owner of Northland Shooter Supply). Jim has been a Savage supply for many year (complete guns, parts, barrels, stocks, etc). He started selling pre-fit Shilen and McGowen barrels a couple of years ago. Last year he joined up with McGowen to develop a Remington barrel nut system to allow pre-fit barrels. I know he has sold a fair number of them.
