Ruger RXM Glock Clone Pistol

@Forum Boss you are spot on! The reliability and simplicity of the Glock pistol is world famous but I absolutely despised the thing from the first time I got one in hand back in the 80's.
I competed in the handgun sports only for about 30 years; PPC, IDPA, USPSA, bowling pin and steel plate speed shooting and even some metallic silhouette. I was a USPSA Range CRO, Range Master and took home many trophies, most all with the 1911( including the double stack versions). I have also done well with different models of the poly-framed pistols over the years but I have to say, like you, I absolutely hated the grip style and angle of every single Glock I ever had in hand.
While the new Ruger version doesn't have the one most annoying feature (that stupid arch in the rear of the grip) I expect it will still be less than desirable for my bear paw size hands.

Maybe I`m deformed, but I find my G19 and G43 to have a natural point to my target. I practice in the house a lot and use doorknobs and other small focus points using a laser. They just work for me. I do have 1911`s and Rugers and S&W revolvers. I don`t notice the difference. Lucky me. Jeff

Call me old-fashioned (79) but I just don't do not like any trigger with a blade, including Savage rifles. For pistols I prefer the 1911, and to that end my conceal carry is Sig P938.

You are not deformed. Just very lucky!
Transitioning from one semiautomatic to another can be difficult enough but transitioning from one to the revolver is traumatic for many (or most).
Once upon a time I designed a stage for a well attended USPSA State Match. once the shooter engaged some targets while moving down range with his/her own pistol the shooter had to "move his partner to safety" while engaging more target with his/her pistol. The "partner" was unusually heavy (read almost real person weight) and they we're not allowed to drag it until they were up on the stage (not in walk-thru).
Then the fun began! The final three targets had to be engaged with a S&W Model 10 revolver (two-rounds per target). Simple right, uh, no. I had shooters with GM rating that actually didn't know how to shoot a revolver! It got downright hilarious and I don't remember how many "big guns" came thru the stage, screwed the revolver and tried to get a reshoot. There were a couple that even tried to get the stage thrown out. Tough, the MD had already made sure it was safe and that all the props and extra revolver were in top shape.

Lots of Glock Clones; this is the first with a (dedicated) serial numbered FCG, but otherwise G3 compatible.
Lot of videos on the Ruger already out; expect more by the hour.
Uppers and Lowers are Glock/Ruger interchangeable, with a very well thought out optics mount system,
easily and correctly convertible for two of the most popular optic platforms, RMR and RMSc.
Glocks & clones are already a lego pistol, but hampered by the serial numbered grip frame;
Ruger has done away with that. Expect 3D printers to be running overtime.
Personally, I would get rid of the Ruger's open/slotted mag well rear; just a place for debris to collect.
