Rimfire Gallery--Show Us Your Gun

My son is a huge University of Florida fan so a few years back I had this gun built for his birthday. It's his Gator Gun featuring the U of F mascot Al-E-Gator in school colors. Needlass to say, he loved it.

My Anschütz 54

Try these on for size.... Little ol' Sporterized custom pre A Win 52, and Win 52C match rifle, not a bench rifle but for competition......

That's a cool looking stock -- so cool I can't imagine it's factory. Where did you get it? The pistol grip reminds of an FWB 300 air rifle.

Jason

This is a orginal Anschütz stock from 1979.
I have revised it.

An this is my Remington 597 yellow jacket gold nugget.

I am getting ready for South Fork's Rimfire Benchrest matches this summer. (www.southforkrifleclub.com). My philosophy is: "If you can't shoot, you have to look good".

heres my 22lr. kidd custom action trigger and barrel boyds stock, harris bipod with a few touches to make it comfortable for me to shoot. comb riser and my rather large stock extension. I have really long arms and abnormally long neck not to mention artificial disk so i do whatever i have to to keep me shooting. This is astonishingly accurate for being semi auto.(well at least i think so) 1/2 moa 100yd groups are the norm with wolf match target.

It has been 15 years since I sold my 54 Super match, and gave up rimfire target shooting (BR50). I decided at that time I would thread, true, lap, and hardchrome my old 580 single shot and thread on a new Pence hand cut rifled custom barrel. It turned out really nice and shoots quite well with Wolf ME @ 50yrds. 3/8" groups when sorted

But the when you get around the matches they become infecting, So I decided to jump in the ARA competition arena and 4 weeks ago got this brand new creation built by R. Gorham. and man will it drive em problem is when that wind picks up this thing humbles you!

It shoots very well the old lot of Eley BR Gold I had left from my BR 50 days. Better than my old 54 Annie did @ 50 yards, this was dead calm.

CMP $400 Kimber 82G "Rusty"

No rust found!

Target is from 05/21 "Mini-Palma" match. 15 rounds in each target. No wind during the first target; started blowing with the second target and even more for the third.)

This 52D sporter was the result of receiving a rather thrashed 52D from the CMP. The bbl's bore looked really awful through a Hawkeye borescope, the bolt's ser # didn't match the receiver's, and the stock was in pretty tough shape. Take all that into consideration, plus the fact that I'd restored the 1st 52D I got from the CMP to its original condition, and I didn't feel bad about not restoring this one as a target rifle.

I've lusted after an original 52B Sporter for years, but with a decent one going for $5k+, I decided I'd build my own version. Mike Ross chambered & installed a Broughton match bbl. that Tim North contoured to duplicate the Browning replica 52B's bbl. Karl Kenyon converted the trigger, and the English walnut blank came from Cecil Fredi in Las Vegas. I drilled & tapped the bbl. for the EGW cantilevered scope base, and mounted an old Weaver V16 using TPS TSR rings. Haven't had a chance to even zero the scope yet, but am really looking forward to seeing how it shoots.

This is another mod 37 that I'm redoing. The second photo is of the redone stock. I'm waiting on the metal work to be rust blued.

Hello all,

this is my Anschutz 1907R - repeating version of single shot 1907 rifle. Its with factory stock which is well designed, but that color of wood is terrible. I like laminated stocks, but this blue is really bad.

I also post photo of groups I made today. Distance 50 meters, ammo Lapua Center-X, there are 5 round in each group. Diameter of 10 on target is 1 cm.

I have no photos, but I am still shooting the same Anschutz 1413 super match that I bought as a kid almost 40 years ago. Unfortunately for me half of those years it spent stored in its box unused, but I'm back to using it again and loving it.

My favorite rimfire, an Annie, 17LP right hand / left bolt. If I do my part she'll shoot well under an inch at 100 yds. I use CCI 17gr V-Max & a Burris 3-12 AO handgun scope and a good rest.

Here's my Ruger 10/22. Tech sights and sling with quick release mag latch. It's about 22yrs old and was cleaned for the first time about a year ago.(unfortunately)
Just as accurate as ever.

My factory barreled Suhl 150 with a cedar/carbon fiber stock I made.

IMAG2485.jpg

I'm still tweaking and tuning, but it is shooting well so far. The stock is the first laminate I've made with vertical and horizontal seams (and spanish and red cedar) so it took a lot more laminating work getting it together but I like it. It has a Leupold 36x scope in BKL rings and an old style Hoehn tuner. I pillar and glass bedded the stock and made the trigger guard and buttplate out of carbon fiber too.
