Hello Guys.
Just got an email from Collins and joined today.
I have attached a few photos of some of my rimfires; all .22 LR except for the obvious centerfires in the "group" photos.

file

My Anschutz 64 MPR; Nikon SF scope:

file

And a custom 10/22: No original Ruger parts left except the
receiver shell:

file

Only a few of these ever made: You have to guess...:)

And, the main reason Labguy likes living alone: I can put whatever I want on the walls with no Mrs. Labguy to say no...:D

file

I left out a couple of .22 WMR's and a brand new gun just made and finished this week with a nice Lilja barrel. Everything else I own, but don't shoot much, is centerfire stuff.

WOW, these are some beautiful & great shooting rigs. Fun to see...

Here is my .22 Thompson Center Benchmark. Never saw one prior, but read they are good shooters. Bought it used, sight unseen & it had been shot little, but was full of siltlike dirt throughout,?) -- Cleaned it and shot it with good results.
It's built like a tank with steel, precision parts-pleasant surprise. No plastic & no aluminum.

Snowing today in Connecticut, so shot from my shed/shop/reloading HQ to a berm 50yds away.

Target shown- 5 @ 50. I had ordered Wolf match 22 ammo & dealer shipped Lapua Match instead. Note the high dollar bench.

Quite pleased with 5 shot group from a rifle that cost so little. and an autoloader! Nikon 6.5 X 20 scope.

Photo is in the shed, shooting out the door, with the heater crankin'.

Here's my little Marlin 22 Mag with a cheapy Simmons Prairie Master 4-16x40 scope. It's pretty accurate with the Rem. 33 grain ammo. Had a blast bustin' chucks last year .. got this one and 3 more @140 yards head shots out of a brushpile in the field behind the house.

Last winters 17 hmr project.
It's not a bolt, but it a sweet shooter.
Trigger was reworked to break at 3/4 of a pound...perfect for popping squirrels on cold fall mornings.
You can cover a 5 shot group at 100 with a dime all day long.

Just finished this project today.

DSCN1625.jpg

DSCN1624.jpg

The rifle is based off a Marlin 980S action with a Green Mountain 20" fluted barrel. Trigger is a Rifle Basix I took down to just over 16 oz. by using a different pull weight screw. Scope is a Japanese-made Tasco 36x that I picked up NIB for $100 and is surprisingly clear.

The stock was my winter project... it's laminated carbon fiber and walnut. I cut, shaped, and polished the buttplate by hand. Bedded with a one-peice aluminum bedding block and Devcon 10110. Finished with Tru-oil.

Once some new front and rear bags arrive, because yes, the ones in the photo are terrible), I'll be ready to test it out.

NEW / 22lr 18" SS tube, fluted & port 6X20 scope.

On a stock that I made about 15 years ago from a blank.

My T/C with a 18' fluted, ported 22lr MGM match.

6x20 tasco works fine at 50 feet.

I made the stock and forend years ago.

A fun lil gun.

Here's my modest collection of rimfires. A 10/22 with an Adams & Bennett barrel, Hogue stock, Simmons Aetec 3.8x12x44 & Power Custom hammer & spring kit. Next is a Buckmark Silhouette that has had the fore end removed and barrel cut down to 6' and a Simmons red dot. The two revolvers are a Bicetennial Single Six and an old model Bearcat. The Bearcat was given to me by my Dad. I still have the box with a $39 pricetag, owners manual and the wax paper wrapper. They aren't high dollar customs, but I enjoy them.
