Rimfire Gallery--Show Us Your Gun

Bill, while you're at it, try some SK Pistol Match - in my custom barreled 40Xs & V-22s, just about every lot of this stuff has shot really well. I've had good luck with SK Rifle Match, but had to go through bunches more lots of it to find one worth buying in quantity, while four out of six lots of Pistol shot very well - and it's a buck a box less than Rifle Match.

She's nothing special but she is mine. Savage Mark ii BTV Athlon Argos BTR 8-34×56. Action bedded and have a lowey single shot follower. I built my bag riders out of 1/2" polypropylene.
I use it for Bill Bucks indoor 50 yard postal league and Central Indiana Highpower Rifle Shooters outdoor fclass rimfire league. Although not terribly successfully.

I just finished a project to duplicate my 6.5 CM set up in a 22lr.

Top rifle is a blueprinted 700 in 6.5 CM with a Krieger 5R Barrel

Bottom rifle is a Stiller Lonestar 40x clone with a Remington bolt handle fitted as well as a Shilen ratchet rifled barrel in 22lr.

Both rifles have the same Leupold VX3 long range competition 8.5x25 with 1/8 dot and Bix N Andy Tac Sport Triggers set at 10 oz. Stocks are McMillan Remington Hunters.

I don't have any photos of groups, but they group in the .2's and .3's at 50 yds for the 22 and 100 yds for the 6.5. Really happy with the results!

Great looking Low Wall! Looks like a standard trigger, special sporting stock, round barrel? Not sure about the scope and mounts? Maybe Fecker?

I really like your Ballard as well!

Thanks for posting!

Rook 6. My Low wall Helm was also done on a Winder over 15 years ago.It is as we speak getting a silhouette style stock and another forearm done to shoot Rimfire BPCR. I figured it would be that much more collectable with two matching stocks. Will be at the next Quigley Match with it. Will post pics...yours is A DANDY !

Longbow,
Is George Petersen at Treebone providing the furniture? I think he provides a great product. I bought the pictured wood and another set for a .45-70 build at the same time. The Low Wall barrel is a Shilen Ratchet 28 inches. It will have a Hoke rear tang sight and a Lee Shaver 17A front. For glass I'm using a DZ 8x in DZ mounts. Like you, its for Rimfire BPCR.
Sadly, I've never been to the Q, but its on my bucket list! For now work, wife, kids, life in general gets in the way.

Hope to see pics of your completed silhouette stocks and good luck to you at the Q!

Best Regards,

Pete
