The barrel is a Shilen 4 groove ratchet at 25 1/2".

Not for the purists. I bought this local and the wood was poor and severely pitted at the end of the barrel.

Yes, it's the same one I shot all last year. Did you see it in person ? Having a backup built as well. It'l be awhile yet. Since barrels are like hens teeth at the moment !

Sweet rig! Mind sharing the barrel specs? And what're are you feeding it to get 10-shot groups like the one in the photo above?

Yeah, once. You were beating me only moderately severely until I hung the wrong target at 100.

Coincidentally, that was the day I shot MY only 10x target like the one you posted.

I do remember you now. That was a really nice target !!


Crow- Barrel is a Shillen 4 groove 16 twist at 25 1/2", Lapua Center X was that group.

My newest addition to the collection. Ruger 77/22, 24" barrel. Nikon 6-18x40 for the scope. I just replaced factory sear and spring with a Volquartsen set up, went from 5 1/4lb to 2 1/4lb trigger pull. First time at 100yds with factory setup I shot 2" groups. I plan on getting some quality target ammo to run through it next time.
