Rimfire Gallery--Show Us Your Gun

IMG_0058.JPG IMG_0772.jpg Things are getting pretty fancy on this thread. How bout we step it back to a rifle for a simpler time.

This is one that in the hands of a grown man, will take him back to the days of a boy with the world in the palm of his hand. This one just makes me smile when I use it. jd

My two jelrod-converted 40X/XBs & new Vudoo Gun Works V-22. Top 40XB has a Lilja titebore bbl, middle 40X wears a Benchmark 3-groove, and V-22 has a Krieger; all are sendero contour, 40Xs are 26", V-22 is 22". 40Xs are in B&C #2015 stocks, V-22 in Manners Elite T4A. All have Jewell HVR triggers & Athlon Cronus 4.5-29x56 scopes. They all use Mike Bush's 10rd AI-style magazines & PTG DBM. These mags will fit & work in any DBM designed to fit a M700 SA for AICS mags.

Very, very cool! I have an Athlon Cronus on a custom .260 for PRS.

With my lovely bride working on Christmas, I decided to take my 40X Rimfire family to the range for Christmas.

All 4 suppressed, no plugs needed. TBAC Take-Down, Jet Integral, TBAC 6.5 Ultra 7, Shark 308.

Shot 2-3 MOA sized steel out to 220 yards and testing out some new close range (50 yards) targets to be 100% sure my welds were solid before Saturdays Prone and PRS matches.

Still not sure if the Manners stock will stay. Might end up with another AI chassis or maybe a MPA.

Update on the 40XB repeater - had a Manners T4A DBM mini chassis sitting in the shop, so decided to try this rifle in it. Had wanted to get the 40XB CeraKoted, and once I decided to leave it in this stock, mixed McM olive/McM tan at a 1:4 ratio and shot it. Had also taken the time to turn the old bolt knob down & thread the stub for a homemade knob before the CK job.

1710 and 1727 Annies both with Vortex GE scopes:

/QUOTE]

Thats the 22 I want right there the SS one! Well I think so. I cant decide on the HB or Silhouette and there are none around where I live to do a touchy feely. I want one I can shoot off my light sinclair rest at the range and then pack around in the field to shoot rodents. Just dont know about the HB. Seems like the silhouette would be just fine. But I like the non montecarlo batter. Appreciate any comment.
ps: you should have german glass on that beauty not that chicom!!

This is my BR50 rifle. A Walther target rifle, it now wears a Weaver 36X silver scope not the BSA shown. I plan to eventually get a better way to ride a 3" front bag than the Sinclair adapter. So far it likes Norma Target and Eley Target the best.

Here is my yard gun. Used 10-22 and I installed EAB 9 twist barrel and Revolution stock I reworked factory trigger and installed trigger stop. About 2 lbs and crisp. Scope is vintage Redfield 4x rimfire scope and low Weaver 3/4 rings. Setup to use the Aguila 60 grn. Sniper Subsonic. Also have Ruger suppressor. Very quiet, action cycles good with ammo. Accurate too at ranges I use.
