What are your accuracy expectations 50 yds or 100 yds?
What shooting disciplines are you shooting?

Rifle dependent, ammo dependent, optic dependent, rest setup, etc. All important re expectations, mine vs anybody else. YMMV.
Always keep in mind, a large percentage of “internet groups” posted by guys cluless about accurate measurement.

Consistently, not best of multiple groups?

MOA or less at those distances, with good ammo.
once you get further out, things start to fall apart, so something like 5" at 200, 10-12" at 300, 15+" at 400.

Long range, you might do better with a dedicated rig and very good ammo.

CZ MTR 457 is guaranteed by manufacturer to shoot .5 inch at 50. Any CZ will do this with decent ammo. My CZ457 MTR can get .3 on good day. My custom Win 52 and Turbo get 1/4 to 3/8 groups with right ammo. Groups measured with caliper outside to outside edge less diameter of the bullet (.224”). I’m looking for five shots in one hole no wider than 2 bullets which is roughly 1/4” group. I lot test my ammo at the Lapua lab or through Killough,

I aim to get 1/2" 5 shot groups at 50 yds. I get some smaller, some bigger, but AVERAGES of 4, 5-shot groups are now being about .600". When I get averages of 1/2" or less I'm very happy.
This with a CZ-455 with Leupold 6-18X40mm and shooting off a Harris bipod and leather rear bag off a bench. No flags.
YMMV

11-12 mm @ 50m
These sizes are the average for a number of ten-shot groups outside-to-outside dimensions. Center-to-center that's about .213 - 251" and they are what may be expected with a very good rifle/barrel and good ammo (shooter and conditions aside).

It's not unusual for most non-competitive shooters to not regularly approach these levels of accuracy performance.

On average and usually group size will more than double between 50 and 100 yards or meters.

Also, I went back through my records and from March 26, 2024 thru September 19, 2024 all my shooting with Eley Benchrest Precision ammo averaged .430". As it got colder it went into the .5xx" through February 24, 2025. I believe (hope) it is the effect of temperature on the shooter (me) and, as it warms up my groups will shrink into the .4xx" again. I used to shoot better when I was younger, but then again I used to do everything better then...

I just posted yesterdays checking one of my guns on Rimfire Central. This is about what this guns does consistently with good ammo.

Dug out Old Reliable (40X) to check zero for a possible upcoming match. Put away dirty. I'm not big on cleaning unlesd accuracy falls off.

Always can depend on it and really likes Lapua SLR. I'm not a lot tester, for my use and hard to get we've found at this level it all shoots good.

Zero was still perfect at 50 yards. Shot a couple at varying farther distances and went to 197 yards. 5 quick shots not really making sure everything was bench perfect and it shows she still has it. Have done better but this is usual for this gun.

This includes cold bore shot which is usually a bit fast. Good ammo that has performed well out thru 500 yards for us. I'll try took back and see what those 5 shots chronoed.

Ready for summer.

I am a recreational 22LR target shooter. I resume shooting the 22 LR two years ago. My only purpose was to obtain more trigger time economically. Thus, I shoot CCI Standard Velocity ammo.

I shoot an NRA A17 target at 50 yards, 30 round course, bench w/ Harris bipod and rear bag. My average over 900 rounds fired (30 matches) was 95.8 with 1% extreme flyers (not scored) attributed to the ammo.
