Remington R-25 chamber problem

I got out to shoot my new R-25 in .308 and couldn't chamber a round. Long story short, the chamber was rough and undersized. Looks like it never got a finish reamer run through it. Has anyone else seen or heard of this happening?

I got an armalite AR10 a while back that produced fired brass with a large bulge around the case head...can't imagine how armalite managed to do that. I got them to replace it with an upgraded barrel and now life is good...I'm sure remington will be as accommodating...
