Reloading Benches and Rooms Pictures

Here is mine. We were about to build a new house but they got reduced to a shop building with living area in it, so I’m going to be here a few more years. Going to plan a small area in the shop contained to about 8 feet so I can load at the farm. I am thinking about a new bench top and some paint for this room.

I hate to tell you this but, I don't think there is any room for paint!

Here is mine. I constructed all the benches, drawers etc from 3/4 ply. The benches are all lagged into the concrete foundation, so they are very rigid. All the drawers are on full extension drawer slides. The benchtops are all laminated with Formica.
The tops are 1 1/2 thick, and the loading bench (at the far end) has a 3/4 thick aluminum plate inset, which is tapped for each loader.
The two drawers beneath the load bench are for the 14 Dillon tool heads with dies and powder measures, and primers, the second drawer is for powder.

I have two Dillons, one set up for Large primers, and one for Small primers. I also use a Harrels, and my trusty Rockchucker which I got in 1976 , so it is 48 years old. I have gone through many, many presses and powder measuring systems, I now use my Lyman 55 Culver conversion and my Fx120i Autothrow & Autotrickler V3. Since the bench is tied into the foundation, it does not move at all when I operate my presses.

A variation of the original NRMA plans. The boss said, if it's going to be in the house it shouldn't look like it belongs in the garage...

Oh you want to see it populated too? Well that costs extra
(kidding, here's an early usage pic before updating some gear and filling it out with what I have today)

That's heavy duty T-track (not normal) on 12" centers to provide leverage and standard 3/8" bolt heads fit it.
Usually only the press is mounted leaving the balance of the bench free.
@jxb Where do you get those T tracks? Do you have to router them in or buy the top like that?

https://www.ptreeusa.com/ttrack_track.html and scroll down to heavy duty. Router the slots but keep in mind the depth, you'll need plenty of support under those, not to mention something to get the screws into.

My top is two sheets of 3/4" laminated and with plastic laminate (HPL) matte texture for the surface so things like H380 don't roll off. A thick butcher block would be a great top and it's as easy as router the slots and install tracks. Milled hardwood slot fillers are wonderful, even cfe223 doesn't get in em. Cut them to whatever lengths fits your workflow pulling out just what's needed leaving the balance of the top flat.

standard 3/8" bolts from the hardware store fit these, I got nuts off amazon.
