Redding sizing wax question.

I have used Imperial sizing die wax in the past, but I need to purchase a fresh tin. I see Redding sells a "Green Wax" and also a "White Wax", both under their name. What is the difference between the two and is one better or more advanced than the other?

Mike,

I have several tins of the Imperial Wax from before and after the Redding purchase of Imperial. It didn't turn green until after Redding bought the company. I've never noticed any difference when sizing brass whether the tins were before/after or the color of the wax. A thin coat applied with a Q-tip is applied to about 35% of the case body, with a little occasionally getting on the case neck.

I’ve found Redding’s customer service very helpful… give them a call!

I’ve been a big fan of Imperial sizing wax until I got a sample of Kick Ass case lube from Curt Knitt from CTK Precision, this stuff is really good and I like it much better than Imperial, it’s less sticky and almost impossible to over lube the case and it applies very evenly, definitely worth a try imo

I've been using Imperial Wax for 20yrs or so. In all that time I've never had a reason to change. I got a few buddies switched over to it too. I'd like to try the Royal Case Lube but the two tins of Imperial that I have on hand will probably last another couple of years. :D

I have both, aside from the color, they are the same.

I also have can of the Hornandy , which looks like white soap. It does the job, just not as good as the Imperial/Redding.

Got a link? Went to the site to check it out but no mention of the case lube

Am I the only one here using Hornady One Shot? ;)
No, I love the simplicity of it, but...
