Redding imperial sizing wax

Just got some Redding imperial sizing wax. This stuff is the best lube I ever used. I have tried. one shot, Hornady, etc and had problems, espically with small base dies. This stuff make using a small base die easy. If anyone has had problems re-sizing try this stuff.. nilebartram

Yep!!! It is WAAAAAY better than the other stuff. You should also have a look at pure mink oil paste, no silicone. Costs about a fourth as much as Imperial and works just as well as far as I can tell. I tried it years ago when I ran out of Imperial and have used nothing else since.

imperial is really really good.

The Hornady Unique works very well and contains mink oil. Next time I need lube, I'll try the Imperial. The Lee in a tube is garbage. It works ok if it's wet and especially thinned a bit with water. If it dries, the cases stick. One thing I can say about the Lee lube. It's is the best release agent I've used when bedding a stock. I tested multiple things, oils, greases, silicone, Unique, but a light thin coating of Lee was much better. Just a light pull after the epoxy dries and the barrel pops out with nothing sticking to the barrel.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who thinks Hornady One Shot is junk. Read a thread somewhere awhile back where a guy praised it to the rafters. I'm very happy with Imperial.

RCBS 2 case lube. No clue how long but enough time to wear out a pad! Don't care about greasy hands....been that way my whole life (so far)

I'm the opposite. I ditched the case lube pad a long time ago - it attracts too much dirt. I don't mind rubbing lube on cases with my fingers- especially the Royal stuff- It smells good:)

Me too. Hate the lube pad and the RCBS goo. Would be like eating honey from a fruit jar with your hands, only I'm guessing the RCBS goo doesn't even taste good.

The only cases I found that would work with Hornady One Sh*t lube is the small stuff like hornet, fireball, etc. I use it for the last step necking down 20 practical with a bushing neck sizing die. For larger cases, have your stuck case removal tool handy.
