Action:Hart
Barrel: pac nor 1-14 twist
Stock:mcmillian BR
GunSmith: Bob White
Load: lapua case, cci450 primer, RL10 powder, Charge 30.5gr, bullet 66gr fowler.
could not get to the range early in the morning, these groups were shot sun 8/8/10 3:30 in the afternoon till around 6:30pm. temp in mid 80's ,light winds. NO WIND FLAGS.
no wind flags because i was to lazy to set them up.looks like a .2128 agg to me.
what little bit of reading i have done thats good enough for 2nd place in several of the last bench shoots i could find. If these groups would have been shot in competition.
lost a shot on that .301 target or would have agg ed in the 180-190 range.
OH yea this is a 6BR.(.269nk).
The 1-14 twist 6BR is alive and well
And it can be competitive!
The .167 group is a group i fired the sunday before while i was sorting out a trigger problem
I been shooting the RL10 powder in the 6BR for about 6years now and thought everyone knew about it and was shooting it.Three rifles have shot it very well. The groups you see here today are week as to what this rifle and load can do. Can group into low 1's! And the best thing is its very consistent. I hope this proves the point i been trying to make to you.
Now dont buy up all my RL10 powder because i know how you guys are.
