Problem With Garmin Xero Update 03/21/25

I damn near gave my LabRadar away @ $200. Dumb thing never worked worth a darn from the get go. Had to buy an external trigger and 3D print a pic rail snd add a red dot for aiming to get it to actually trigger and track shots. Always plugged it into AC source or 30k mAh external battery. Don’t even get my started on the garbage phone app…

The Labradar is great. It's large so you'll never loose it and also makes a great sunshade for those harsh summer days. It makes sure you always have spare AA batteries around for that time you tv remote dies. It uses a really stout tripod that can double as a phone holder to shoot awesome videos. Way better than the garmin.

The best thing about the garmin, it took a bunch of sheep from labradar so you can get the labradar for $300.
OMG hilarious!

I would like to delete all sessions at once. Mine has SW version 3.23.

Resetting Data and Settings

The chronograph offers options for deleting your user data and resetting all settings to the factory default values.
NOTE: If you clear data from the chronograph after you sync with the ShotView™ app, the data will not be deleted from the app.
  1. Select SETTINGS > RESET.
  2. Select an option:
    • To delete all of your recorded sessions from the chronograph, select CLEAR ALL SESSIONS.
    • To reset all settings to default values, select RESET ALL SETTINGS.
    • To reset all settings to factory default values and delete all user data and sessions, select FACTORY RESET.
  3. Select YES.

Have your Bluetooth and wifi on on your phone and then turn Garmin and phone on at the same time and see if they update or tell you to update.

Thanks for the tips. Computers are not my forte, so the tips are very helpful. I followed yor advice and the Garmin updated immediately. Does the Shotview ap need to be opened for updates to take place or can it complete the task without actually opening the ap while the Garmin is being used?

I also have the same problem, everything happened when installing version 3.3, with the previous 3.27 I had no problems, it doesn't read the shots, I can't change the language, etc.

I just wing it and hope something works. I think it should load without the app open if you have your Bluetooth enabled.

Mine either its why I like to keep it simple stupid. Hell when I went to school theres wasn't any. Timber cutter, Mason and oil field worker didn't need any stinking computer lol
Perhaps one of the early pendulum-style 'chronographs' would be more your style, as they have ZERO computer issues.

You're aware that the 'stinking computer' is alive and somewhat well in your Lab Radar, right? It's confusing when you contradict yourself. If I could ask, what is your definition of 'simple stupid' as it refers to chronographs? I'm assuming that's what you're talking about.....

That is what I thought too but my Bluetooth and wifi are always on and it didn't do the update until I opened the app. Now let's just hope it works as well as it did before the update. I haven't had a single problem with the unit since I purchased it. I normally have the unit more than 15" behind the muzzle but it works just as well.
If there is one thing I'd like to see improved, it would be to maximize the displayed numbers. Old dudes need larger print.

Haven't had to update my Labradar, I set it up push the arm button and shoot and it records. Anything more to do?
