Prime ammo being forced into temporary closure by ruag/Norma.

I usually “write” a check, how do you “right” a check?

But now that we are on that subject, I will say I also did not get rich by writing checks, I got rich by receiving big checks.

Just can not stop trolling can you? I guess you never heard of a typo?

What makes you think that a US brass provider would allow "Prime" to not pay their bills ??
Really Jon, when you say "I will never buy anymore new stuff from ruag or norma" its not like we are heartbroken and I doubt RUAG/Norma is either. - It's pretty simple, if a business receives product on consignment / credit and they don't pay then this is what is called "defaulting". - Has nothing to do with "going into business and keeping our business inside our country"
If you watched the video from Prime he said everything is prepaid and they wont release it to Prime . Ruag is defaulting and is tying up Prime's money and product.

That order may have been pre-paid but they never paid for previous orders. Its like owing a guy $100 but taking him cash to buy something else he has. Even though you have the money for the new item you still owe him $100 from the last time.

I just kinda caught how much saum ammo they ordered. Theres gotta be less than 2 people that want that. Maybe thats why ruag is cutting them off- bad outlook on the future.

Man you guys should see all the whining by the prime kool aid drinkers on other sites. Hahahaha.
I’m not on either side but objective. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I love the extortion of the customer base to help with lawyer fees when they still owe $800k.

Firstly, I have very little "faith" in Primes "side" of the story. - Those who don't pay their bills on-time & then make noise about it won't get any sympathy from a whole lot of reasonable folks. - RUAG wants the payment(s) that are owed, plain & simple. I think the "press & opinions" on another forum has swayed some opinions of a few folks including ones over here. - One item that is notable, Weatherby has done business for decades with RUAG/NORMA and there has been none of the press & grandstanding like Prime has done & its because they've honored contractual agreements & paid bills. - Simple as.
- Personally, I'm looking forward to those who are making all that Noise to NOT buy RUAG/NORMA products, that way there will be more available for those of us who do want them & haven't drank Primes "Kool-Aid" - To me it means More 416 Barrett Brass, More 300 WSM Brass available. - How many of the "Noise-Makers" really use the products ? - I'm betting this is more about picking sides based on a "rant" in a video than the real facts. - Why is it Prime is the only one who is squawking ?? - (Besides the individuals who have taken sides with them based on some video rant)

I don't normally get involved in these kind of threads as this is more about "choosing sides" in a legal matter where all the facts are not fully revealed, and really has nothing to do with Accurate-Shooting.
- We are all entitled to our own opinions but it amazes me when I see grandstanding (By Prime in a video clip that isn't all inclusive) and folks rush to judgment to take sides & they really don't know the whole story, - IF Prime was such a "Stand-Up Outfit" they'd have met contractual obligations and paid the bills and we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Yup JimT just trolling it up again. Yes trolling it up. I was giving you a an example of a second way businesses operate. Most do not know this about companies. Most think when a company gets a bill the company just pays it by the due date. You know how us lowly workers pay bills.

As too the long net terms wont be in business very long. That is total BS. Once again you show how little you know. Every large company I have ever done business with likes keeping their cash for as long as they can. "I did not get rich by righting checks" Small companies do have a hard time with this. If you are going to play with the big dogs then you have to know how they play. Like I said I am a fan of the cash up front method. Sure I could sell much more product but I am making enough and growing at a rate I dictate. If my very profitable product stops selling today well the rest of the stuff I make can keep all of my employees getting paid.
I would tend to agree with you.

One thing that is curious, Ruag agreed to sell Prime additional goods for almost $400k to help Prime settle their debt. Prime paid but never received the materials. Ruag indicated that they were continuing to produce the product for the subsequent order but did not indicate that they had shipped any of it as was stated in the agreement. Instead Ruag retained the funds paid by Prime, placing it in escrow and now petitions to keep the funds to help settle the debt.

First, interesting that Prime was able to come up with the funds for additional order, but couldn't or wouldn't pay under the initial agreement.

Second, it might be assumed that Ruag never intended to supply the materials for the subsequent order, but instead received the funds under false pretense to get the funds to cover the first agreement.

In a court of law this may not be as cut and dry as one might think.
A surprising video to create & release. According to Prime CEO, Ruag operated in bad faith in several instances, that seems to be the crux of the matter; at least according to the Prime CEO. There is fair (good luck with that notion), and there is breach of contract.

The video is propaganda. Read the documents cited in this thread for a more complete picture.

Does anyone else think its extremely tacky that Prime is asking for donations to their legal fund?
I find it interesting that the money is going into a Prime controlled account. If the funds are 100% for legal fees the money should go directly into an escrow account jointly controlled by their law firm and Prime or an independent third party before I would even consider contributing.

Any news on this on the other forums i dont go to?

Just looked at the Norma Ammo Facebook page. April 17,8:00am.
RUAG Takes Legal Action Against PRIME Ammunition for Outstanding Debt on More than 1.2 Million Rounds.
Well over a year ago Prime stopped paying RUAG for the ammunition it sold and has refused to make any additional payments on the debt owed.

Personally I could give a care less. They will get it all legally sorted out in due time. If I only listened to one side of the story I’d think our president is a racist, white supremacist, and habitual liar all while being addicted to porn. So I take this video with , the old idiom, a grain of salt.

READ the documents filed by BOTH Sides then some clarity starts to evolve. Also, keep in mind that RUAG/NORMA has done business with other(s) companies for decades and no news or drama has been in the news. - Pretty simple - Default & failure of Prime to pay over $700,000.00 for products supplied as per contract agreement.
