Preliminary LabRadar Testing

TCK, LLC the exclusive distributor for LabRadar has been notified by Infinition, the Canadian manufacturer of LabRadar that while production has started they were informed by a supplier of one part that is on backorder. As you can imagine that is disappointing to everyone involved. They have told us a small portion of shipment may become available in October and those customers have been notified in a separate email. The orders are being filled in the order taken. The remainder will not be assembled until around Christmas due to this backordered part. We apologize for the delay, but know you will be very satisfied as the reviews on the first shipment have been excellent. Should this delay be unacceptable to you feel free to contact us by email and we can cancel your order at info@mylabradar.com
 
No surprises with that email. The list of excuses gets longer!

Is there any U.S. Company or any reliable company that could produce/ manufacture this chrono and sell it? There's definitely a market for it and lots of interest.
 
I think time is ripe to go for a MagnetoSpeed and revisit Labradar in couple of years it they are still around by then
 
They were only initially sold to 'opinion makers' , testers and a regular joe here and there that just happened to get lucky.
None were shipped to general public.
 
I know but ate they not allowed to share findings on the unit? Surely out of the members here there are more than two who got one to test or give input

I did not make the cut for the October shipment. If they do ship after Christmas, 4 months of the 1 year warranty will go down the drain, because I will not be able to use it during the winter.

Exactly. And I have ZERO problem with that, if the manufacturer makes that known in the first place. Instead, they took our (my) money in good faith back in March, failing to disclosing that "shipping" meant that only a select few would receive them in a timely manner. That's exceptionally poor communication and poor faith shown by a manufacturer trying to build a business around a new product. That's why I cancelled my "order" and got my money back.

Once (if) they start shipping on demand, then I might revisit them. But they've built a very poor base for trust so far.
 
If their tech is good enough, they may be able to overcome their lousy (bordering on unethical) business execution.

My guess is they'll run out of (pre-order) money before they can scale their business large enough to deliver.

I think you are right. The only thing worse than being a prospective customer would be being an investor. If I were one, I would be looking for heads to roll and would be reticent about putting any more money in this disaster.
 
I wonder how they'd fare on Shark Tank? I'm lovin' that show this summer (reruns) as I had never watched more than snippets here and there. Eat'em alive I'm thinking.
